Have stayed 9-12 times. Star Hotel is Very conveniently located. Easily walk to Tae Phae Gate. Laundry and massage services close by: bars, too. There is, also, a Big C nearby: only 70meters.

I stayed here for a month and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone. I will always have my hotel in Chiang Mai now.

All the staff are friendly, welcoming, helpful and very hardworking. They are happy to help in whatever way they can. The maids came everyday and were cleaning experts.

The room was very comfortable. One day one of the maids noticed one of the lights wasn't quite working and within minutes the repairman was at the door to repair.

Since it was Covid time, they brought breakfast to my room everyday. They were always punctual and smiling.

Excellent location as well-within walking distance to Big C, mcDonalds etc..

Highly recommend to anyone and I will be back next time I am in Chiang Mai.

Good: The hotel was situated a couple blocks from the night market which is very convenient. The rooms were also fairly clean for the price.
Bad:
I tried to find the fitness center but was told it was located in another hotel and they have limited hours of 0900-1900 which is not ideal for a traveler. I did not search for the pool but my guess is that it is the same situation. I would put this as semi misleading advertising. The bathrooms rooms had poor flush.

Value for money. Simple u0026 Nice breakfast. Friendly staff. The room furniture abit old but well maintain and clean. However there is very limited parking space. The staff will always guide you for parking.

Top value for the money. The place is a little aged but totally kept up and the rooms are clean and nice staff and very good location

Decent stop. Clean and tidy hotel and very good for the price. Good working facilities. The breakfast wasn't that good but its OK considering its a free add-on. We had 3 people booked into one room and I unfortunately draw the short straw and had to sleep on a fold up bed but it was comfortable enough for me. Staff are nice.

Room is dated. It needs a new coat of paint. There is no view from the window. Room is reasonable size and clean. Bathroom is a little small. You can not open the bathroom and shower door at the same time. The hot water is tricky to adjust. Some of my friends in other rooms said that they did not have hot water for couple of days. There were mold growing on the grout inside the shower. Breakfast food is the same everyday. I wish they would change the menu a little bit otherwise food is decent and tasty. Location is close to the Night Market. For the price I paid for, it is a good value.
