This is a fantastic Southern Thai food restaurant with dishes ranging from 35 to 60 baht. It's very busy at noon and tucked in on a little soi. I like their Massaman Chicken the best. I recommend it.

Been visiting this place for years already. This is a southern Thai style "ran khao kaeng", a curry-rice shop, meaning they have a wide selection of pre-made dishes, both curries and others. You can get portions of them ladles onto a plate of rice or order them separately. It being southern Thai style means that many of the dishes can be very spicy. The big platter of raw vegetables and herbs comes complementary.

One of my favorite restaurants in Chiang Mai. They have a nice selection of precooked curries and other Southern Thai dishes. Spicy range reaches from non-spicy to blazing hot, and every pot is labelled with the spice level of the dish it contains. They serve a big plate of vegetables and herbs with a pungent (maybe with shrimp paste?) chili dip on every table. Food is cheap and good here.

The food was so good that I did not get a chance to take a photo! Don't let the store front scare you, this place is a hidden gem and you wouldn't find it out with the rest of the touristy restaurants. The prices are incredibly low. I had their massaman (sp?) chicken, nonspicy with a little side of the pickled green mustard vegetables, and it was perfect. It tasted home cooked, and I'd go back again.

Nice spicy southern style Thai food with reasonable price. Beware of their spices. You spit out fire! Free Fresh legumes with Krill and chilli paste are original.

If you THINK you like spicy try this menu! There's some serious heat on your plate in this little place specialising in southern cuisine.
