I have visited some vegetarian restaurants in Chiang Mai. I like this one the most as it has a wide variety of dishes to choose from. The food is delicious. I especially like the crispy wanton. And, the price is very reasonable. Only about 50-70 baht for the portion that you can see in the photos.

It is opened at 7am in the morning which suited me as a morning person. Not many vegetarian restaurants in Chiang Mai open so early in the morning.

Very good vegetarian restaurant in the old town area. It has a large selection of foods to choose from (choose your dishes on one plate) and pay the fee. Only issue I didn't like was that the food was cold and not warm/hot.

Right in the centre of the old city, this vegetarian restaurant has hundreds of excellent reviews, so I thought I would give it a try.

Very close to the entrance to "Wat Phra Sing", Ming Kwan vegetarian restaurant has plenty of indoor seating and offers a range of buffet meals. I tried a recommended set of three selections as can be seen in one of my pictures. I found it a very bland meal, with a salty predominance.

Sadly, none of the staff smiled for me - which a lot of reviewers had commented on.

The prices are very low for what you get - large portions in my opinion - and this is obviously a mecca for vegetarians, but alas, not for me.

We are staying around the corner and stumbled across Ming Kwan's Sunday night market stall. The shitake mushroom balls were incredible. The next day we visited the restaurant for lunch. I'm in love. Everything is Vegan. A vegan buffet. I can't believe how tasty the food is and inexpensive. £2 for this plate of food. Even if you aren't vegan or vegetarian, I highly recommend popping in for some food. You won't regret it. Coming back tomorrow ???? (also offer self service free water) ❤️

Delicious food with good price. I visited serval time during my stay in the old town:) Definitely recommend the place (no matter if you are vegetarian or not).

For this price and the selection, not only would I say this restaurant is hard to beat in Chiang Mai, it’s one of the best places to eat vegan food in all of Thailand.

Specifically, the grilled mushrooms they use are so good, I would probably pick it over a “real steak” eight times out of 10, it costs five times less as well :). I take friends here I take family here, I take Thai friends here - all smiles across the board, and you won’t even believe the price!

Amazing restaurant, the family is so friendly, just visit once and you risk having a new favorite CM local spot!!
