Wonderful hidden gem has everything you would expect and more. Great local Thai food. Two free bicycles and pool table. The owner is very accommodating and well respected in the area. She is very knowledgeable and can give you many great tips only a local would know. Extended my stay. Definitely recommend!

Decent accommodation for Chaing Mai. We paid 400thb for a private room with shares bathroom and a balcony. Room was cleaned everyday. Owner had some great suggestions for us to do around town. Allowed us to store our motorbike at the hotel as well! Very close to the night market which is great fun at night. Overall I would recommend this place to stay.

Good lord if you are reading this and are actively looking for a place to stay in Chiang Mai, look no further. Siam Tulip is by far the best place I’ve stayed at in my 2 months of travel. Bright spacious rooms, affordable delicious food, very clean and well maintained. However the owner is truly the selling point. She’s an absolute gem. Literally lent us her personal bike for an evening so we could go to a Muay Thai fight over town (don’t expect this obviously). Treat her well and I know you’ll be taken care of and leave with the same glowing review.

Nice place not far from the night bazaar and river. I just fancied a coffee and ordered an iced latte for 50 Baht. Service was swift and friendly. There's free wifi. I guess there's a Dutch owner since the menu lists some Dutch snacks.

So upon arriving after taking the over night train to chaing mai our room was not ready for check in but the owner was more then accommodating and set up a bed for us to sleep until our room was ready. On top of that the traditional Thai food she makes is something out of this world! The spaces has free pool and 2 bikes you can use for free. One night the owner lent us her personal moto scooter so we could get across town she is the sweetest most accommodating person we have met in Thailand so far if you’re in chaing mai you must stay here !! The rooms were huge with smoking patio and very clean

Cheap, simple, breakfast was included but not on the day you leave which is weird. We had possible to with the electricity everyday, no washing machine, the hotel is actually a bar which will play loud music until midnight everyday.

The resident lady is soooo grumpy, and I have no idea why. In that regard it's the worst service I've had in an establishment in Thailand.
The shared mayonnaise/salt/ketchup/mustard containers on the table are old and sticky, which is not a good sign either.
The Dutch food is mediocre and was served half cold. If you fancy a kroket or frikandel in Chiang Mai, Mamory Delicious is a much better option.
