Great place! We met the owner/bartender who is super friendly and creates a fun, interactive atmosphere. We have had some great conversations and he has quite the collection of bar games to challenge your mind. The music is great but at the perfect level so you can talk. There is a great selection of cocktails, spirits or wine along with local beers. They also have a wide selection of Belgian beers. The younger bartender is also very friendly and efficient. The food is excellent. We had Belgian Stew, proper french fries and a burger, all delicious. Don't worry about going solo you will soon be involved in conversations with locals and expats, great mix of personalities. You can also be as quiet as you like. It's a great place and you won't regret coming here.

Definition of a friendly, neighbourhood bar. After going there a couple of times you are treated as a regular and if you sit at the bar the staff are expert in encouraging interesting conversations between anyone willing to participate. Prices are reasonable and food is very good. Really enjoyed the Belgian stew (made by a Belgian!). There are some puzzles on the bar and after showing interest, the Thai bartender (his name is God) who speaks perfect English kept us interested with brain teaser puzzles. They also had a quiz night while we were there which was well done and a lot of fun. The wide selection of booze and knowledgeable staff means you can order from a huge selection of drinks . Highly recommended!

Good selection of beer. Great staff. Chilled vibe. Nice place to sit, relax and watch the world walk by.

Good vibe, very cosy brown bar! One of the few places where you can talk to eachother! Recommended!
