Popular Khao Man Gai in the old town. It’s almost the exact copy of the other one next door, the original Kiet Ocha. Rumor is the two brothers fight after the parent died. They split up and one of the brother open this restaurant next door.

Rumor aside, taste is just average for me. Nothing special. Fast and friendly service. Price is very cheap.

Kao man gai is okay but not impressive. The fried chicken is a bit dry.

Great! Hainanese boiled or steamed chicken rice is a staple in Thailand but few restaurants offer the "proper" way to eat it: help yourself sweet, thick black soy sauce and all the ginger, garlic and chillies you want on the table. You can have your chicken fried as well, which is served with a sweet chilli sauce. There's also Thai style pork satay. Wash it all down with free, complimentary Tea but they have some drinks to order as well

I have to correct my previous review, this is the best Chicken Rice Restaurant in the area. I have just returned to Chiang Mai after a few years absence and am now a regular customer at this restaurant, very excellent Chicken Rice (boiled and fried are both available) and also very good Moo Satay (grilled pork on a stick).

So good! Noodle soups and fried pork are amazing. Everything we ordered was great and great price too.

I’ve never been disappointed by this shop! (Been here many times) Consistent delicious chicken rice. Makes me think about the chicken rice in Singapore ???? thanks!

Try the crispy pork please!!!!! and duck also good. Amazing price and quality
