Ordered half a chicken with bones, medium fried chicken chop and small pork satay. I know its too much for just 2 person as some misunderstanding of half of chicken consist of steam and fried???? so its best to be clear upon ordering ???? total damage 480bht
The steam chicken is good and tasty with the chilli, fried chicken chop is great! As not too oily.. Pork satay with the peanut sauce is also good but not juicy as its pretty flat but still worth to try. Do come and have the taste of hainanese chicken rice if you are aound the area.

Wasn’t sure I should come here as I usually avoid anything under 4 stars. Glad I gave it a chance, awesome meal! Ordered boiled chicken, crispy chicken, and grilled chicken. Everything was cooked perfectly and their sauces are delicious. If you’re in Chiang Mai this place should be pinned on your map.

This restaurant has, according to their sign, been here serving up delicious portions of Hainanese style chicken and rice since 1957 and, after trying it out, I can see why! Service is incredibly efficient we were seated, ordered, and our food brought to the table within about three minutes. We had Khao Man Gai Tod (fried chicken with rice), Satay Moo (pork satay sticks), and Cha Yen (Thai ice tea) and all were very tasty and cheap. The little bowl of soup they give with every order was so yummy! We were the only foreigners in the place at the time but this is clearly a local favorite. We stayed only a few meters away and every time we walked by there was a crowd.

Valuable price for their chicken rice quality. Rice is very good, chicken is cooked perfectly someday, overcooked some day. But they are good in average. Easy, OK and quick way for lunch in CM.

Because another place was closed, I decided to try the Kiat O Cha. Ordered a standard plate of chicken rice and was disappointed by the quality, portion size and price ( 60 baht). The next day, I returned to the restaurant I originally planned to go to (about a 10 min walk north of the North Gate, near the Waseda Japanese Language School on Ku Tao Road). I ordered the same thing and was surprised by the quality, portion size and price (40 baht) - everything was far superior.
