Really good hotel. It is family owned and you can feel that. Very accommodating and nice. Room was great, nothing is missing. Breakfast was really good, fresh fruit, good Thai food and also the typical continental stuff like toast, jam and eggs. Exceptionally good coffee! I am not a pool guy, but for those who are: they clean it every morning. The hotel is right on the river with many good restaurants nearby. The obligatory 7 Eleven is 50 meters away ;) And all this for a reasonable price. Five stars, I will be back!

I stayed here for 2 times. This place is on good location. It’s easy for you to find something to eat. Everyone here is very nice. Room is clean and comfortable. Breakfast is very cheap and delicious. Massage shop nearby is a must to try.

Good friendly service. Clean comfortable rooms. Elevator. Lovely breakfast. Reasonably priced. Parking not so good. Too much chlorine in pool.

Outstanding place to stay in Chiang Mai. It’s located across the street from the Ping River. It’s located about 2k (1 mile) just East of center city. It’s located just across the bridge from the night district. Lots of restaurants, shopping, and nightlife within walking distance. There is a 7/11 convenient store next door, and Rimping grocery store less than 2 blocks away.

You can get anywhere in the city in a cab for less than 200Bhat ($5). They have a very nice pool area where you can sit and eat outside or just hang out. They have a kitchen are if you are with a small group to hangout and eat/drink with your friends.

The staff is awesome!!! The ladies and gentlemen that run the check-in area are excellent at customer service. The cleaning staff are very polite and will take care of your room.

If you are staying in Chiang Mai and looking for a small quiet hotel this is the place!!! It is very clean and the staff speak English and will answer any and all questions.

An absolute hidden charm along the Ping river.
Stayed here for 14 days during Songkran 2022, and could not have choose a better place to stay.
All the staff and so kind and accommodating, with nothing to much much for them to do.
The coffee shop attached to the hotel in the lobby has some of the best coffee I've had in Chiang Mai (which is saying a lot considering CM has some of the best coffee in Thailand).
The rooms are simple, but has everything one would need for a comfortable stay.
I choose a deluxe room, which had an amazing balcony overlooking the river, which was just amazing when just wanting to chill and watch the world go by.
The pool although smallish, is perfectly suited for a hotel of this size, with an amazing waterfall to sit under and sip from a drink.
Can't wait to come back to CM, and back to this slice of heaven.

Riverside Guest House is our absolute go-to location when in Chiang Mai.
Family owned and operated. Clean, safe, and conveniently located to walking street, train station, many restaurants, and several of the night markets.
Price is above hostel prices, but significantly below private bungalow prices. This is a great location for couples, solos, or families with older kids. Its not a night-time party spot, rather the kind of place you'd read a book by the pool, and enjoy a home-cooked breakfast in the morning.
Our family and group trips have stayed at RSGH more than 2 dozen nights over 7 years, we have never been disappointed.
The friendliness and personal service is very consistent and unmatched by any other location we have stayed at.

We received a warm welcome like we were royalty upon our arrival. The staff was very attentive and professional. Our room was simple yet comfortable. We enjoyed the opportunity to sit outside and admire the garden and poolside. The location was excellent for visiting the Night Market.
