Simple but charming and comfortable hotel in the old town which we really liked during our previous stay in 2019.

Unfortunately, the management of this hotel is currently abandoned due to Covid interruption and the quality of the services has greatly deteriorated: serious cleaning issues in the common areas, limited and incompetent staff, unable to help us with logistical questions as simple as making a phone call to Bangkok, etc.
Let's hope that the management will be able to pull themselves together, hire a properly trained staff and give this hotel the quality of services it once had.

(Warning: The rooms are spacious and pleasant but only those on the pool side have actual windows.)

I loved this little place! We stayed in the deluxe room and it was very spacious with a private bathroom. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was the best we had in Thailand with real, brewed coffee. The place has a wonderful charm with beautiful wood carvings and colorful glass. Perfectly situated near the north gate in the old city. Just a couple minute walk to the street food market.

This is our 5th time in Chiang Mai and our second time staying at this fantastic hotel.
It’s a small boutique place in a brilliant location, and is an oasis of calm on the edge of the old town. Small number of rooms, beautifully decorated in Lanna style, with plenty of space and great air con.
Breakfasts have been super, enough selection to please all. The custom omelette and dim sum have seen me through the two weeks just fine.
Great pool, small but great.
Finally the staff. They are what take this place to the top of list of places here, attentive but not overbearing and always happy to help. They’ve all been fantastic.
I can’t recommend the hotel enough, anyone coming to Chiang Mai needs to consider it, you won’t regret it

Without a doubt one of the best boutique hotels I have ever stayed at. Very clean, super quite and very quaint. They seemed to always have fresh flowers, the pool area always had this great smell. Breakfast is awesome as well. I cant wait to go back to Chaing Mai and stay here again.

Great customer service. Comfortable hotel perfect for families and otherwise. Hotel pool is just big enough for the number of rooms and is child friendly.

Amazing breakfast dishes offering both traditional Thai and western food.

Location is very good. Walking distance to massage shops, bars and restaurants. Tuk tuks are very easy to get if you want to go further into town to see temples.

We really liked Rich Lanna House in Chiang Mai. Our room was beautiful and spacious, though the windows looked out into walls of neighbouring buildings. Location is excellent. The staff are very sweet, though some are better at helping guests resolve questions than others! All are polite and smiling. The breakfast is disappointing, and with so few guests, much of it left out in the open throughout breakfast service makes it unappealing.

Location: Good location, you can walk to the center of Chiang Mai. Staff do their best but with mixed results. The house is absolutely beautiful with carvings and art and a really pretty room. The breakfast was delicious. Wifi was spotty in the room but worked fine in the lobby.
