Very chic place to stay. It’s located on Wualai Road where the famous Saturday’s market is. I visited the Artisan cafe for quality coffee and quiet atmosphere for work in day, and then decided to take a room upstair for a night stay. I found that Wualai is the most peaceful area in Chiangmai city, and it is also close to everything. If you would like to visit Chiangmai city and prefer a peaceful atmosphere (from my exp in June22), this place is your choice.

Came back after three years and it's still an amazing place to stay. It's a higher-end hostel that has private rooms along with a few multi-bed rooms. The facilities are very clean and modern which is a huge plus. While it's a little bit of a walk to the old city, it does give you some peace and quiet at night. There's a basic breakfast every morning and a cafe attached (highly recommend) if you want something more. The bedrooms are bunk beds that are stable and basic mattresses, although each have a personal light and plug. There are also big storage lockers for you to put your valuables in. The staff are very friendly and helpful if you need anything during your stay. Highly recommend this place!

Oxotel has some of the best facilities I've experienced from a hostel. It's more of a hybrid hotel/hostel and I love the chilled vibe. Having the Artisan cafe attached is a bonus as the food is lovely and coffee is great! My favourite thing is the amazing hot showers..any long term backpacker will know what I mean! It's also a bonus that breakfast is included. Saturday's are the best days to be there as the walking street market is right outside the hostel, and on other days you're only a 15 minute walk from the old town and the park where they have free yoga at 9am and 4pm daily. Will definitely use Oxotel as my Chiang Mai base now. :)

It's a very nice hostel near Chiangmai centre and airport, and it take only 10 minutes to walk to the market and night market.
The staff in here so kind and funny and support to customer whenever they need
There have many rooms for any purpose to travel alone or with family or friends. In there also design many public area with the green glass, tables and chairs for your comfortable
Don't worry about the price cause it very suitable!

A nice and clean hostel. The pictures were slightly deceiving, as it seemed like the bunks had curtains- which they do, but it doesn’t block the entire bunk, just small portions. My bed was comfortable and came with a lovely duvet and a shower towel. The rooms are not the most soundproof though, as you can hear people walking up and down the hall. The complimentary breakfast was one of the best I’ve had at a hostel: hard-boiled eggs, bananas, oranges, toast, finger sandwiches, cereal, buns, muesli, and juice. Although it’s not directly in Old Town, getting around on foot is still doable.

On my second visit to Chiang Mai, I decided to stay at a newer hostel just south of the city center. The Oxotel hostel was a wonderful experience and I couldn't be happier with my choice. The facilities are even more beautiful than in the pictures. The staff were extremely helpful, attentive to all my needs and spoke great english. They upgraded my friend and I to a 4 bed dorm during our original booking which was a pleasant surprise. There is a cafe at the front of the hostel that brings local Thais in and serves delicious coffee. I became a regular and they knew what I was ordering before I could say a word. While it is a 10-15 min walk to the city center, it has a Saturday market on it's street that was just delightful! The hostel and cafe is such a creative, beautiful and peaceful place to stay. I loved it here so much that I extended my stay an additional 3 nights.

Had such a great experience in Oxotel! It's a high level hostel, with an incredible design and cleanliness. Stayed for 2 nights with my girlfriend in a private room with Tv, Aircon and a fridge. The bed is super comfortable and they provide you with every hygiene product you may occasionally need. The bathroom is shared but shinny clean. It has a beautiful outdoor space where they serve a complete continental breakfast. It has its own parking garage and night security. It also has a couple of terraces and laundry service. Totally recommended!
