Nice accommodation. The room was big a clean and is a good base for exploring Chiang Mai. The air conditioning worked very well. The only downsides were:
- the wifi: it only really works up to the 1st floor
- the noise: the windows insulation is pretty poor, so you can hear the noise from the road in front of the apartment (not so many cars at night, but the noisy motorbikes will still wake you up...so bring some earplugs!)
The city centre is about 50 minutes walk from the apartment and the bus station about 15 minutes walk. You can get to/from the airport using the bus B2 or get a grab (300-400 baths) or airport taxi (200 baths).
Be careful, the place is incorrectly listed on google maps, so we really struggled to find it. If you want to find it, look for 'aquarius shop' (car shop). The appartenant is next to it.
Tips:
- Try the thai restaurant next door. The menu is in Thai only, but the lady who owns is it lovely and cooked us a lovely fried rice and shrimps/crab dish for 50 baths.
- You also MUST try 'The loft Cafe' about 3-4 minutes walk from the apartment. It's a little gem.
