This lovely little mom and pop restaurant is just around the corner from my hotel, BED Phrasingh (highly recommend for young, child free travelers not on a tight budget) and I wanted one more sweet taste of khao soi before I left Chiang Mai.
The chicken drumstick in the bowl was so tender I could eat it with chopsticks! The noodles on top were perfectly fried, the noodles in the soup were tender but still had a bit of chew, and the broth was perfectly spiced, if not seasoned. I added some sugar to mine but I like my khao soi a bit sweeter. Luckily there were seasonings on the table so I could adjust it myself.
The people who ran the place were really nice and made me a Thai iced milk tea to go with my soup. They also had a very nice cat, which earns them bonus points in my books.
