Would not recommend especially for a solo woman traveller. Staff didn't realize they had a guest checking in and were not prepared for us. Room was dirty, blood splatter on sheets, no deadbolt on door (only doorknob locked). People were noisy downstairs, we appeared to be the only foreigners staying there which was fine but wasn't the hostel experience that we were expecting. Tried to get a refund for our five night $90 stay and the hostel never responded, we booked on Expedia and they wouldn't refund since Deejai Backpackers didn't respond.

I m sure before COVID was an amazing hostel, but now its just an old remember.
Hostel not particularly clean and organised.
Nice the swimming pool and bar area.

Do not stay here. This is not a hostel right now. I don’t know what this is. Place is so not ready to be reopened and really not okay for them to accept any reservations. Completely run down. Everything dirty. Lobby is filthy. Owners just sleeping on the couch. Rooms seem to have people living in them. Like Thai locals, not tourists or travelers. No social vibes at all. Dark and depressing. Random people cooking outside my room. I paid for 4 nights and just left after the first one. Not going to ruin my holiday over it. Just trust me, don’t stay here right now. They should really not be open like this. No reception and filthy. Also dogs on the property barked all night And the owners did nothing about it. I literally could not wait to leave. Of the 50+ hostels I’ve stayed in my entire life, this is hands down the worst experience.

Not good at all. Great location. But the rooms were bad. Smelling. Not clean

Dirty, No one on reception and we had to find a number online, call and wait 30 minutes for someone to show us to our room.

The pool isn’t on sight, it’s down the road. Isn’t open everyday, doesn’t open till 12 and when they have a pool party you have to pay to attend.

The place is also full of mosquitos

Good price, good facilities. The manager is very helpful and will treat you like a friend. They also organize outings, social events, parties, bar crawls, etc. The location is right in the center of everything.
