I highly recommend their roast chicken, which is coke outside and tender inside, with browned and oily skin, crispy entrance and strong aroma; the meat is tender and juicy, the garlic fragrance penetrates into the chicken, and the teeth and cheeks are fragrant. This roast chicken is said to be recommended in the Michelin Guide, which is true. Other dishes are relatively bland and home-cooked.

Simple grilled chicken. Their grilled chicken is good, but nothing to rave about or to travel to from afar. Skin could have been crispier and some pieces were almost a bit dry. Som Tam was pretty good and not overly sweet like many others, but more on the salty side. Sticky rice was like everywhere else. I didn’t like the sauces much, one was too sweet the other way too salty. I prefer the other Michelin-recommended grilled chicken in Nimman.

A Chiang Mai chicken institution. The star of the show is the rotisserie chicken. The price is pretty good, and the chicken is worth it. The mixed vegetables are pretty good as well. I like the sweet sauce they give you with your meal. Overall a no-frills, simple, down-to-earth spot. You can get similar stuff in some markets, but I do believe this chicken is a bit better than most.

Searched what to eat at local area, was the opposite of the old town where we stayed, and saw the reviews and had to visit, nice restaurant with a lot of choices to eat. We ordered the whole chicken and other 3 sides. Good value for money, nice moist chicken. I ordered sticky rice, came cold and was hard, didn't like it.

Without a doubt, the grill chicken is the star, roating charcoal grill with its inside stuffed with garlic ????
Portion for all food is just about nice that doesn't fills you up, leaves you some space to enjoy and try other food if you on a foodie trail.

Food tasted ok nothing great - pricing is a bit higher then most local restaurants serving similar food. I ordered half charcoal roasted chicken, a serving of spicy mince pork salad and a spicy beef soup.

The spicy beef soup tasted the best among the 3 dishes - beef was tender and soup tangy.

Both the spicy beef soup and mince pork salad was not spicy at all.

I would not go out of my way to try this place - if your nearby Wat Phra Singh then do drop by to try.

Overall I would rate this as average food and slightly higher price - total cost me 280B for the meal including a can of Coke.

The star menu is chicken roasted with garlic and served with dipping sauce. Surely this alone is better than your regular supermarket rotisserie chicken. It may not have the crispiest skin, but it's still pretty damn good.

The morning glory stir fry was disappointingly bland. The bbq beef was less chewier than your typical Thai beef dishes but still good.

If you like roast chicken and want to try something different (and really good), go to Cherng Doi.
