The host and his wife were very friendly and helpful. Also everything was clean and pretty quiet. Having a capsule bed was comfortable and nice to sleep in without waking up because there wasn’t sunlight that would get through and each bed had walls. I also liked that they have women only rooms that’s what I prefer when I travel alone. For breakfast they served delicious bananas and bread with jam. Having two washing machines right downstairs was very convenient! I washed my clothes for only 30 baht. They also sell water right downstairs which was convenient too. The place would close down after 10 and those that stayed there had a special magnet key meaning the place was quite safe and no stranger could get in. Overall my stay there was pretty good and positive! No complaints at all apart from the location the road crossing was a little inconvenient but it wasn’t that bad.
The price was also inexpensive very good for those with limited budget around 160 baht (I believe). Not far from the hostel there are massage and nail salons which I visited too. Also you can order a van that goes straight to Pai for 200 baht which is also really convenient and saves some money too. Really recommend this place because of how nice the owner is. ????❤️❤️❤️

It was a nice hostel for sleep. Centrally located and near the happening places inn Chiang Mai. Very neat and cheap with a friendly manager. Lots of drinks to choose from in the refrigerator. There was no breakfast but there at least I didn't see anyone eating for the two nights I spent there. But there are some fruits and coffee stand for you. The bathroom wasn't quite big but it's squeaky clean. I didn't show up on the day I reserved and the property didn't charge me for that which was pretty kind of them.

I used to stay in that hostel for 3 nights in September, 2016.
I put 5 start to that place for be clean, cozy, friendly and very comfortable for live there. Big bed space with curtain what make u feel as a private area. Towel, blanket provided for free. 24 hr free snacks available for all customers (toasts, bananas, hot tea). Clean and good looking bathrooms. Fair service of rent motorbike. All are good here. Highly recommend!!

Absolutely loved our stay at Hug! The bunks are super comfortable and clean, the bathrooms are spotless! There isn’t much of a common space except the front outside but we enjoyed hanging out in our bunks. Wifi was great, went down once but they had it fixed very quickly.

For 150 Bhat a night people need to curb their expectations. This isn’t a 5 star hotel, it’s a family run hostel in Chiang Mai.

Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Perfect place for a GOOD nights sleep!! It was especially why I chose to stay here and it didn’t disappoint. I’d been sleeping at another hostel waking up with progressively worse back pain each day but after one night here I finally woke up without pain and feeling awesome!! Even got up early and had a great start to my day! Toast coffee tea bananas offered and the staff are so so pleasant. Perfect quiet, relaxed stay and would highly recommend for the super comfy bed!!

One of the cheapest hostels that i have been to but also very clean and has privacy curtains. They have laundry machine on the first floor. The owner was really helpful! I booked a Chiang Rai trip for an early morning. I forgot to set an alarm but the owner was nice enough to come and wake me. I would have missed my trip if wasn't for him. Recommended!!!

bed was great. shower rooms’s clean.
but stuff is not really professional. we needed to deposit 400B for two keys.
but when we check out, there was no one at reception. even though it was already check out time. so we couldn’t get deposits back on the day..
but beside that, nice hostel.
