We visited several times at different times during the day, would recommend going later in the evening. The food is always delicious, some of the best fried rice I've ever had, and my husband really enjoyed the crispy pork with basil and rice. The service isn't always great, with one lady in particular being a bit grumpy (generally works in the afternoon), but still a good experience. WiFi is usually pretty good too. Very interesting atmosphere, you can sit inside or outside and there are several places to sit with your feet hanging down under the table.

The hanging seats were quite unique. But otherwise, the food was just average. We ordered: tom yum shrimp (good but more sour than usual), seafood fried rice (average), stir fried watercress (dry and oily), stir fried clams with fermented soy beans (flavorful because of the sauce but could not taste the clam), and oyster pancakes (gross, oily, mushy).

If you do come here, avoid some of the food mentioned above and sit by the hanging seats!

Local restaurant located in the old city, this place has to offer many traditional Thai dishes. Their speciality is fish-based dish. But you can also go for other stir-fried dishes, and the attentive staff can accommodate the level of spice! The setting is clean and very different from others restaurants in town: remove your shoes, and sit on pillows brought to you. Take the time to go through the many options, and order: flavor-packed dishes with a strong spicy kick are what you are in for! Few tourists in this spot but the staff knows a bit of English.

Went here for dinner during the week. It looks a little hipster at first as you need to take off your shoes at the door and be seated at the edge of the restaurant with your feet hanging down. Don’t worry it’s not dangerous but your feet are dangling down. Some find it really comfortable. I think with a big party of people it’ll be uncomfortable but if you’re a party of two you will be able to chat next to each other.
We were disappointed by the menu as well as the taste. There we’re lots of meat options but few veggie ones. I tried sundried beef, my partner had chicken and we had some swamp cabbage. It was not the best food nor the best service we had. Waiters were quick but not very friendly.
I’d probably recommend this for a drink but maybe not for dinner. Our final bill came to 360 baht incl tips. This was for three courses, two steamed rice and 2 drinks. So this very affordable for tourists.

This is a great place to eat late when many local restaurants are already closed. They have a large menu with a focus on seafood. I recommend to try a fish. Make sure to get the spicy catfish salad, it‘s an amazing side dish. The staff is efficient and the prices are reasonable for a tourist restaurant.

Great food! Small portion so order more for a good variety. Floor seating, so if you can't fold your legs for long, sit at the corner or anywhere with 'ground' space.

Delicious food. Menu is shown with pictures. Ordered a Spicy fish soup which was delicious. The staff is friendly but barely speaks English. 4* as the toilet area has some room for improvement.
