Really very lovely. Great scenery and clean beds and bathrooms. We loved making use of the pool in the morning too. About a 40 min walk from old town which meant we often got a taxi but a good little spot

I can’t recommend Eco Resort enough. The hotel is so lovely, it is close to the city but feels like you are in a hidden oasis. The ground are beautiful and peaceful. The rooms are so cozy and decorated nicely. Most of all, the staff are the kindest people I’ve encountered in Thailand. And that is saying a lot because everyone in Thailand is so nice. I was traveling alone and ran into a tricky medical situation. It was very confusing trying to arrange things on my own but they went above and beyond to help me. I will never forget their kindness and I hope I get to stay with them again in the future.

Nice room, the bathrooms were very beautiful and there is a nice pool.

Dislike. First, if you are millennial/work-travel gen and prefer a bit of quiet private room, I advise you TO RUN. Powerport near the bed head NOT IN SIGHT even just to charge phone near your bed. They have one near the dining table and the other one is for the fridge. And that's it. (Bring your own at least 3M wired charger)
This same price you get better room with more privacy nearer to old city. The superior room with twin bed (the building surrounded the swimming pool) **wall is very very thin** There were guests check in last night that sound like a Thai family ...who never travel before... came in at 10pm and the kids were super loud, parents not help either. Just keep on talking. And I was tired and want to sleep but cannot. You can also hear the father snored through the thin wall (entire night) like you live in the same room. Not worth the money.
Either booking.com or hotel also try to mislead users by providing photos for superior room and then turned out at check in that the room has shared bathroom and you need to pay extra more to upgrade later. Maybe tis' their business model during the hungry , tourist - depraved time in Thailand.

Not recommend. The slightly good thing is they have garden and swimming pool. But pretty much useless. Other hotels also have it at the same price mark.

Didn't stay here, just used the pool for the day. The "resort" is quite old and in need of some serious renovation, but the pool is pretty nice and can be used for the day for 150 baht.

Eco Chiang Mai is the best resort to be. Such a beautiful place. Although there was no microwave in the room, the staff always helped to make our stay comfortable. They heated our food for us and was super friendly, going out of their way to help. The Service is so good. The rooms are always cleaned and fresh linen and towels are always well taken care off. The staff are super friendly and do their best to help all guests.The one thing I loved is that they always smiled and language would never be a barrier since they tried their very best to understand or get help. The staff are honest and polite. There's so much to do at eco like swim in their glorious pool or just do some yoga whilst watching the cute squirrels run. They take such good care of the plants. Fruits can be plucked from trees. There's even a place to exercise and a place to do your laundry and ironing super affordable. To the staff at eco resort thank you for a beautiful stay. I will miss you guys and your excellent hospitality. Keep up the good work.

Beautiful hostel! There is a large pool with plenty of chairs to sun bathe the day away. The grounds are really nice too. I found the staff to be very kind and helpful, especially when I got locked out of my rooms and they had to break in through the window. One downside though, is that they only had 2 lockers in a 4 bed dorm. Dont let that deter you though, this is a great resort!
