Stayed here in March 2022.

Due to Covid-19, there were not many guests staying here. When I checked in, there was only one porter and one front desk staff who also doubles as the bar staff. I guess for that entire day I checked in, I was the only guest.

As a requirement of my return flight, I needed to do an AKT test. The front desk staff was very helpful in calling and checking for me the nearest hospital in Chiang Mai that does this test. She also helped me book a Grab (which came in 1 minute literally) when I said I wanted to do the test that day.

I booked a suite as the price was really good. The room is very nicely decorated, clean and comfortable. All the things are working.

Due to Covid-19 and persistent lack of tourists, the area outside the hotel is deserted. There used to be an alfresco drinking joint with live band. Now it is just an empty plot of land.

Breakfast was good. There is a good selection and the food is delicious. It was a buffet but due to Covid restrictions, some of the food items I could not take mysef - the staff will help me take the food and in some cases, deliver to my table.

My stay throughout this time has been pleasant and I would like to stay here again when I am in Chiang Mai.

I made a reservation for two deluxe rooms with a connecting door.
My family and I expected to see a 5-star hotel at the highest level.
Unfortunately, we got two rooms on the 7th floor with antic equipment and old furnishers and to top it all the smell of moisture and urine was very dominant and made our staying impossible.
After looking at the rooms, we went down to the reception and told them about the condition of the rooms asking for rooms replacement. The staff understand our problems and complaints but could not deliver rooms that meet our basic needs of a good condition and non-smelling one.
In retrospect, we saw that the 7th floor was the subject of many complaints on the web.
With this situation, we had no choice but to leave and check out of hotel the following day.

I had 2 days BF experiences, BF options is so common, not fancy. However, qualityu0026hygetic can't complain.
Staffs are friendly, well-trained.

We stayed at the hotel for several days.
The charming hotel is really well town and the night market. The staff is amazing. the receptionist Di is charming and praiseworthy for providing the excellent service. The desire to help in all. And she even responded to an unusual request! We asked her to greet our loved one in order to transfer them on WhatsApp and she responded in an unusual way and even sang with a happy birthday guitar. Uploads the video. Would like to thank her and the hotel staff for the service way which is given to dosit customers. Highly recommend the hotel for excellent value and exceptional service. I will come back again and recommend to others in all the groups of Thailand in which I am a partner. Many thanks to Di the lovely reception manager !!

Amazing hotel!! Great location, great staff, they were extremely kind and helpful to us. The room was beautiful and spacious, and the rooftop gym is well equipped with a great view. We loved it!

The DusitD2 Hotel in Chiang Mai was like a diamond in the rough. Due to Covid, the area appeared to be struggling during the day but at night seem to wake up with street vendors, but that was not the case once you stepped into the DusitD2.
We had a perfect room with a wonderful view of the mountains (we were on the 6th floor) and the rooms were impeccably maintained daily.
The staff exhibited hospitality at its best, from the informative front desk, to the servers in the restaurant. It was a perfect location for us. Close enough to walk to the Old City, but far enough away from the tourist masses. A special thanks to Marina, Gig and Si at the front desk and Keng Ka at the restaurant for your gracious hospitality.
