This night market used to be vibrant and full of life. Prior to COVID, it was packed with all kinds of people, tourists, vendors, tour guides, etc. Countless buses, mini buses, vans and tuktuks would be dropping people off and picking them up.

You can find practically everything here, wood carving statues, portrait painting, fantasy photo studio, luggages, hand bags, t-shirts, etc. Rows and rows of vendors offering their products or services.

Without the tourists, the market couldn't continue. Now there are hundreds of closed shops. It's like a ghost town.

I wish that you could have seen this market in it's prime.

So sad for Chiang Mai. ????

Chiang Mai Night Bazaar is one of the go-to place when visiting. Its long stretch of road are filled with vendors of handicrafts, food and also massage places. They have several food court area as well. There are also live music in some of the food courts. The place is packed on saturday nights. It’s better to come early as the traffic can be quite jammed.

Good place to go out in Chiang Mai, they have a lot of variety of food and you can have some very cold beers. 100% recommendable

Lovely place to walk about, do a bit of trinket shopping, grab street food, great live music at two food squares, and for the other nightly ???? activities are on parallel streets not far from here.

night market frequented by local and foreign tourists to relax and enjoy the night. there are sellers of Thai food, drinks and knick-knacks. The drawback here is that it is difficult to find a trash can. Not all traders are proficient in English. The merchants here are very friendly and polite

Good vibes, although we went on a week night and drizzly, it was still buzzing. Plenty of food of different variety, street musician playing

It's not like the other night markets in Thailand, more like a collection of several individual markets, food courts and shopping malls.
You should put up a bargain for whatever you are buying, it can reduce the price 30% to 50% in average.
