What a nice surprise! We had been in Chiang Mai for a few days already and a friend recommended this place. On that street are multiple places that call themselves night markets but do go on and come to this one! The food stalls are plenty and of high quality. We came on a Friday night and there was live music and some dancing performances. So many great dishes at very low prices - amazing!

Awesome Night Market that truly stands out above all other offerings around. It has a super friendly and welcoming atmosphere with an ample offering of food stands and cultural presentations ranging from dances to local bands. The best place to spend the evening in Chiang Mai!

Such a fun place! Lots of food and drink options, all reasonably priced and live music and performances every evening. My friends and I loved it so much we basically came here 3 nights in a row. Some of the food stalls have an "upstairs" balcony which is a really cool place to hang out.

Good vibe to this outdoor eatery, not like the other markets it's more attuned to dining and entertainment.
A live band or two most nights which doesn't drown out conversation and contemporary music.
A wide variety of Asian and western food options well presented and cooked in hygienic stalls.
Well priced good atmosphere we liked it alot. Oh and it's not all youngsters there are a few middle aged folk there as well.
Not a good rainy day venue due to the lack of overhead cover.

It was ... very okay. A wide selection of different foods -- both Thai and Western. But on the pricey side (by Thai street food standards). For example, my Northern Thai sausage was 129b ... but with a very nice presentation. Large beers 150b (about 3× the price at 7-11). Live music playing in the center of the market on a stage. A few places selling cocktails. Lively and upbeat atmosphere. Lots of trinket shops nearby.

Overall impression: a bit of a tourist trap, but not a horrible way to spend an evening. But, if you are looking for more authentic street food, for much cheaper, then try another night market. (The ones on the Northern and Soutgern Gate are both excellent for cheap and authentic street food.)

Excellent night food market with a lot of international food options. The atmosphere is very chill with live music and some performances. You can find places to take smoothies, beer, desserts, and even you can have a tattoo or a massage. Very recommended to have a nice time in Chiang Mai.

I went to this market every night whilst I was in Chiang Mai. A lot of variety, super nice vibe and food was great. The band made it lively and the location is really easy to find. Fav food was definitely the somtam! Super yummy, had it everyday as supper.
