This early 1970’s hotel has been partly upgraded. The rooms have been remodeled with new floors, windows, AC’s, lights, electric-plug-ins, flat screen TV’s and a modern bathroom.-tastefully done. The hotel lobby still has that “vintage” look and the hotel restaurant ( good menu btw) has those huge round tables and dreary outdated decor. The breakfast buffet was only 50 baht. The kid’s wading pool is large and the adult swimming pool is adequate for a cool dip. Unfortunately the hotel built a coffeehouse on the pool lounging area so the space for sitting is limited. ( Stupid mistake since it also hides the hotel entrance) Plenty of parking space across the street. Use the GPS to find the hidden street it is located on. Nice staff. Not far from the bus station and a couple blocks from a Main Street with shops.
