Very relaxing place, even though it rained so much when I was there and you couldn't swim in the sea at that time because they needed to put sandbags down. I still give it 5 stars for just being a really pleasant, relaxing place with polite and friendly staff. Nice dinners, good wine, the cleaning staff were just lovely. So was the parking attendant, who helped me when my bike got a flat tyre by driving the bike to the garage down the road - so much appreciated. Thank you, I so often wish I was still at your delightful hotel! :)

I wish i could stay there longer. We stayed at the beach front bungalow for 4 nights, it was superb. The room was decorated beautifully in Thai style. The food was excellent, lot of choices for breakfast and especially their restaurant. OMG, the best in town !!! We had a very great memory there. Great hospitality, attention to detail. Worth every penny. Definitely highly recommended !!!

Great luxury resort. The staff is incredibly nice and the service is perfect. The bungalows and the gardens beautiful. Breakfast on the balcony at the beach is great and includes everything from various fruit smoothies to champagne.
We booked the romantic dinner at the beach once, and the staff did an amazing job to make it the perfect experience for us.
Beware of mosquitoes!

We stayed here 3 nights at the beginning of our trip to recharge our batteries and were delighted with the quality and welcome provided by the hotel. The location to relax is fine, the hotel is 20 minutes from the fisherman village on foot.
We were well greeted by the staff who told us our room which was spacious and nice. We have nothing to say, the comfort was there, on the other hand, a plus would be to have a mosquito net for the bed, because there are many mosquitoes.
We were also seized by the services available, welcome cocktail, as well as the activities, we advise everyone to read the information provided in the room so as not to miss a great opportunity. We participated in the Thai massage course, we did a massage at the spa (be careful because it is more expensive than Thai standards) and enjoyed a meal with traditional dances. In the shortcomings, the bar is good but closes early, we arrived the first evening after 6pm non-stop planes, it was 10pm and we asked if it was possible to have a cocktail, the answer was negative, which we were a little disappointed because we wanted to relax without having to leave the kidneys ... Another shortcoming was the lack of "paddle and canoe", when we were clearly not more than 4 people on the beach. There should be more than one of each. The breakfast is excellent and really good and varied.

I could not recommend Zazen more highly. We booked for 2 nights, and ended up staying 2 extra because the space is so lovely. Alexander and his wife are extremely friendly and welcoming, the staff is superb, and the food is delicious. Located right on the beach, it has all the amenities you could ask for; kayaks, SUPs, a fully equipped gym, spacious yoga room, pool table, extensive garden, pool, and great bar/restaurant. Rooms are large and well-decorated and they seem to be keen on making constant additions to the already spectacular property. 10/10, don't miss it!

Beautiful setting with superb food and great drinks. The rooms are lovely with a very comfy bed and good attention to detail with nice toiletries and a games cabinet. The resort is really lush and tropical and the view from the beach and restaurant is unparalleled. It is about a 20 minute walk into town and taxis are expensive so consider your own needs regarding this when booking. Our only issue was with the staffing. There were very few staff on duty, sometimes only one person doing the bar, restaurant and check in desk simultaneously which led to delays in service. Perhaps visiting at a busier time would be better to enjoy the service and atmosphere I'm sure they would foster. Also, I really wish they would supply hand sanitiser at the breakfast buffet - this is really important at this time.

We stayed at Zazen for 5 nights and enjoyed every second.

We stayed at one of the five beachfront rooms, which is a great bonus for those who love to jump from the terrace to the beach or just relax and listen to the sounds of the ocean.

The room was kept very clean and in great shape. Loved the outdoor shower.

The place is very clean, quite and relaxing and the garden is well kept and looks great.

The breakfast is excellent, not a huge buffet, but everything is fresh and of high quality with attention to the small details.

The restaurant is very good, food is delicious. A bit pricey though.

Service is top notch. Staff is super friendly and very helpful.

The beach is nice, but not that white sandy clear water type of a beach. The water is quite opaque and not that inviting.
