This place is absolutely fantastic.
We had some of the best Samosa’s we have ever eaten. Hand made by the chef/owner.
Lovely and fresh with a cumin in the pastry and a mint-curry dipping sauce he made that day.
Then came the Kachumber salad, and Indian Salad we’d never heard of made with onions, capsicum and other vegetables and spices. This knocked our socks off, we love a good salad and this hit the spot.
But the best dish was still to come.
Lamb jalfrezi. Holy Cow. This was one of the best lamb dishes we have ever eaten, anywhere, ever.
The lamb was so soft and tender, and the spices so rich that we couldn’t stop talking about how good this dish was. O.M.G.
It really was that good.
We finished off with a Masala Kulcha (naan) bread that was also pretty darned good, and would be worth talking about more, if the lamb wasn’t that awesome.
This is a great restaurant in the walking street market, come and along and enjoy.
Oh, and his beer prices were pretty good too. And they were nice and cold.
