Not a boutique hotel! Staff are very kind but this is a place you would stop over for one night. Rooms are okay, the bed is comfy but the towels are raggedy and there was NO TOILET PAPER :(((( When I asked for some they said they had none left.. how can you run a hotel with no toilet paper ?? Surely you'd go and buy some from the shop for your guests? For £13 a night it was fine but I wouldn't stay again.

New and clean room. Good quality bed, blanket, sheet and pillows. Towel rack broke and gone (I just knew it's quite annoying to take a bath in a bathroom without towel rack and nowhere to keep my towel.) Noisy as hell A/C. Location is great, Next to walking street and less than a minute walk to nearest convenience store.

The guy that I met at reception look like a guy that'll try to sell you snake oil but he's nice. Some staff seem to have no clue about what he's doing and look like he's just a substitution.

As you can guess from the location, this place's noisy almost 24/7. Advertising cars, VERY loud tourists, etc. But this place also have thin walls and very echo hallway with cannot-close-quietly doors. Not recommended for light sleeper at all.

The staff were great, very friendly and helpful. Room was good value for money. Furnishings are solid if unspectacular and bed is comfy.
Biggest issue for me was the noise in my room, at random, yet frequent, intervals there is a strange squeaking noise coming out of the bathroom. I'm normally a deep sleeper but the noise woke me up a couple of times. Also as Chaweng is under the landing path of the airport, do expect some airplane noise...

Great place, now called Samui boutique.
The place is renewed and feels modern.
The rooms clean and the bed is comfortable.
The shower is the problem, it's to close to the toilet and there is nothing separating between them.
Very good location, very good place.
3 minutes from ark bar.
1 min from the beach.
Good value for money I like!

Would give this hotel no stars if I could!! The photos that show up on the google business page are fraudulent! There is no pool at all, let alone the one in the pictures! Behind The Scene Boutique Hotel is unclean and the staff are difficult to deal with. On top of all this, the air conditioner didn't work in our room so we got moved to another room, where the air con still didn't work properly! The sheets were also dirty in both rooms, and the rooms were infested with Mosquitos. Would NOT recommend to my worst enemy

WARNING to all travelers!

Photos they publish are not at all what they seem on the pics on Booking, Agoda, TripAsvisor or Google, far from the truth.

There are better hotels for the same price, newer, cleaner in that same location

Positive:
Location is great.

Negative:
Balcony door did not lock, shower is horrible, not like the pictures, it floods and smells of sewage.
Watch out when walking around the top floor, my partner hit her head so hard he shaved skin of that needed to be treated

Awful didn't even stay one night. The pictures they advertise with are fake. It's noisy, mosquito infected, the air con is broken (despite moving rooms)... Don't even concider this place as they will not refund you when you find out it is nothing like the pictures!
