Best and by far I believe only pure veg in Koh Samui
Getting to Govinda's was nothing less than reaching to heaven for me and my wife as this is pure veg and they do serve no onion Garlic food also. Host shiela is a wonderful lady and getting homely food after around 3 days made our day.

This is a recommended place for every vegetarian and every food lover. You will get most different cuisine that you have never had in koh Samui

Very nice people and super nice food NOT ONLY FOR VEGETARIANS. Now seriously I love meat but this food was amazing I had no idea about Indian food so the waitress gave me some hints what to order. I got an curry with chess and rice. She ask us if we want it spicy and as we are used to spicy food we sad yes. It was spicy but not to much so don't hesitate.

Very friendly staff who helped us choosing our food. We had the vegetable pakoras (best I had so far) with a super spicy sauce, paneer tikka masala with steamed rice and bhindi goobi masala with roti. Everything was freshly cooked and really tasty! We can highly recommend this place, suitable for vegans, vegetarians, but also for carnivores :)

Tucked away deep in a corner street, this pure vegetarian place is run by disciples of Hare Krishna movement.

They appear too be of Burmese origin but say they have been around for a while.

Simple fare which is vegan, except for the occasional dish which features "cheese". Upon closer examination, turned out to be cottage cheese.

Bit pricy for the ambience and quantity of food served, but tasty and made fresh. You have to be patient and wait.

The place is small, but cozy and clean. The food is 100% Hindu and very tasty BUT prices are too expensive. A curry around 180/200 thb and plain rice 100thb extra. It didn't seem fair to sell a dish in Thailand or hindu food without rice or charge plain rice so expensive.

Food was nice. I orders a vegan Pad tai which was really tasty. However, paid 140 baht for a dish that doesn't cost more than 70 baht at max. Plus, I'm allergic to peanuts and ofcourse asked for my pad tai without them, and to my surprise it came with peanuts. Instead of making a new one they just picked the peanuts out of the dish with their hands. Nice place for the food, to expensive and unprofessional in my opinion. Better and cheaper options around.
