We really enjoyed our meal here. Sergio, the owner went through the menu in great detail and helped us with picking our dishes. The slow cooked porchetta and the truffle ravioli were both prefect and the homemade tiramisu and limoncello made us feel like we were back travelling through Italy. Highly recommend!

Definitely one of the highlight of our trip. The restaurant owner is very friendly and spent time going through the menu with us. We ordered the porchetta salad and fusilli carbonara pasta which was their special for the day and were blown away by the quality of the food. Tiramisu is good as well, it isn't too sweet and we love. We will be back if we visit the island again in future. Thank you (:

Superb taste in reasonable price, the owner, the chef and staff are very nice and friendly.
Black ravioli stuffed with truffleu0026cheese is excellent. Pizza is also the best of i ever had.

Try it! Or regret later if you don't!

Food Lab transports you to Rome without having to leave Samui. The Italian chef and owners have created the perfect ambience and a fantastic line of high-quality authentic Italian dishes at reasonable prices. We had the Bruschetta Porchetta, Truffle Ravioli, and Gnocci in sausage cream sauce, which we closed off with ice cream and grappa. We savored every bite and had to remind ourselves we were still in Thailand. I would definitely come back and highly recommend Food Lab to others.

My favourite restaurant in Koh Samui, maybe even in whole Thailand.

Two reasons:

THE STAFF
Gergio (I hope I spelled it correctly!) was so welcoming and nice. You won't only get a menu but also explanations of what everything is. I feel like we went on a small food culture tour to Italy! We were curious about the story behind Food Lab and when we asked, we got to hear some really interesting stories! Oh, and they have really great English skills!

THE FOOD
Especially the pizzas were just epic. Like wow!

The chocolate ice cream was delicious, highly recommend it! I don't usually like chocolate ice creams but this was one of the best I've had in my entire life. Had to try it for a second time and yup, still as delicious!

Oh, and the wines here are good (compared to the wines which we've tried while being here).

We went here for two times because the first time wasn't enough to try everything we wanted.

We had marked Food Lab already on our map before coming to Samui … great reviews … found it easy enough in Lamai and were not disappointed!! Clean and friendly place, the owners are passionate about their food .. personal touch, owner takes time to explain everything. Friendly service and great food ???????????????????????????? we loved the pizza. Vegetarian ???? choices available and changes to the menu no problem. Both pasta and gnocchi were also very good. Recommended ????????❤️????????????????????
