We stayed for three incredible weeks and are sad to leave. We chose a studio penthouse and it was enormous, nothing like a standard hotel studio. The patio with private pool was at least as large as the apartment itself and was sparking clean. The entire staff, including Ann at the front desk and May in the restaurant, went out of their way regularly to make sure we were happy and had everything we needed at all times.
The restaurant food was less expensive than what we could order from nearly anywhere on Grab, and they somehow manage to make their offerings from each ethnicity taste delicious. This is probably a first where you can order tacos that are crispy and delicious, which taste authentic (I’m from California!) then later have a Thai curry that’s divine. Our compliments to the chef!
The beach is stunning as well. Very clean, and we loved the plentiful beachfront seating. Easy 3 min walk to Family Mart, fresh produce, excellent street food and quality scooter rentals. Songtheows pass by regularly so easy to catch them as well. Overall, an absolute gem. Don’t hesitate to book!

After booking our holidays at beach republic we nearly cancelled when we read the bad review and seen the photos below. We didn’t and we are so glad we came here. The photos are from the closed property next door.
What a beautiful place, great location right at the beach, infinity pool, massage, super comfortable and well shaded beach beds … all with a view over the gorgeous beach and ocean. Super friendly staff all speak good English and everyone is so kind and helpful. Nice breakfast at the beach. The rooms are a short walk from the beach, very quiet and safe. New building car park in the basement. The room was very clean, spacious with modern smart tv incl. Netflix. Large bathroom with big walk in shower. Big balcony all very spacious. Kitchenette in the room great for tea coffee etc. room service with great selection and fair prices. Very good experience and highly recommended. We were glad we rented a car so we were free to go anywhere we wanted. Private car parking space another plus.

One of my stops in Thailand, This was a great chill relaxing one. Rooms modern and clean. Staff willing to help and answer any questions you have. Reliable fast wifi in room or beach.

I am only giving four out of five stars as Covid has had a huge effect on the tourism here on Koh Samui and the visitor numbers are still extremely low! We have had an amazing time here and the staff have been super friendly and really efficient in all aspects. The location in Lamai is close to so many restaurants and cafes within walking distance or a short car ride, however the food at the restaurant here is varied, delicious and affordable! The sea view from the infinity pool is to die for and we have felt so well looked after while staying here. We are definitely coming back next year and maybe with tourists back to a better number it will be excellent!!

This is a scam! The photo's are from "the old" Beach republic!! The pools are closed, beach they dont take care and you can not uses it. The people are very rude!! The reception lady doesn;t want guest a is not friendly. The towels they don't changed and they clean the rooms only once in 4 days.

This is not hotel but more of a hostel and no 4 star hotel!!

We rented a villa with a swimming pool for a full month with a 4month old baby and we haven’t been disappointed! Great staff (especially the day guard), perfect location (next to an amazing Muay Thai gym called Saman MuayThai), beautiful private access to the beach.

Nice place for a getaway on ko samui. The room was nice and updated. They have a restaurant on site with good food and drinks that isn't over priced. I really like the beach side area with the beds right next to the beach. It's great if you are looking for a place that is a bit separated from town and a lot of foot traffic. If you are looking to use the town at all, it is a bit of a walk.
