Authentic and delicious! We’ve ordered two noodle soups, each came with different type of noodles so I guess that if you have any preferences you can just ask for the one you like. The woman making food is super friendly and welcoming. Don’t expect elegant interior, but do expect lovely food!

Really friendly lady cooking all the food in a very relaxed family house style restaurant. The food is delicious and loved the complimentary water and fruit desert. They also allow you to buy beer from the shop opposite and drink.

Inconspicuous, but packs a punch. The food had us coming back every day (sometimes twice within the same day), you cannot go wrong with Ban Thai. The hospitality shown, the quality of the food (sometimes off-menu), and the experience in general left an impression on us. I cannot recommend highly enough. If you're on Koh Samui you have to try Ban Thai.

One of the best Pad Thai we ever tried and the price was good. After we finished with the dinner she gave us a lot of typical Thai fruits and some sweets to try. Recommend 100%

A very special place on a side street to enjoy tasty dishes of traditional Thai cuisine. Every guest is heartily welcomed here by the super friendly owner/cook. The food was excellent. Highly recommend stopping by and enjoy the food if you're staying in Fisherman's Village.

Authentic, family-run small restaurant serving delicious Thai food. We had the pad Thai and the noodle soup, both of which were delicious, with the food being cooked right next to you. Mama and her daughter were so kind and welcoming, and gave us complimentary local fruit after our meal.

Real typical and delicious meal for really cheap. The pad thai was indeed very good, also had some coconut lemongrass and chicken soup, full of flavor. The lady who cooked before us within a few minutes even gave us some green mango and pineapple for dipping in sweet and sour tamarind sauce, and free banana to go. Very different from the experience at the beach-front restaurants…
