Loved the amazing cuts of meat here at this cozy spot in Fisherman's village. We had the set with 3 different cuts of black angus beef and it was superb. The side portions were generous and to my surprise, the restaurant manager was happy to refill our salads - very impressed. They also do very good fish of the day menu here, so both land and sea menus are spot on. The service was friendly as well as helpful. Happy to return and recommend!

First time here. I’m from Chicago so we have a high bar. This hit the Chicago bar. I grew up on pork ribs. If you are a fan , you will be very very pleased. Meat falls right off the bone. Pics don’t do it justice

Can't say enough good things about our dinner at The Shack. Amazing customer service and attention to detail. It was our first time eating here and we felt like regular customers. We shared a tomahawk steak for four people and it was perfection. Definitely a must visit place on the island. We will eat here again when we come back to Samui.

We had the surf u0026 turf, lobster and steak. Great service, cooked on the grill right in front of you. The staff were great, efficient and friendly, they checked plenty of times to make sure everything was OK. The owner was accommodating and friendly. After dinner drinks also a nice touch. We will be back.

Convinently located jnside the Fisherman village, always pack whenever walking by. Arrived at door open 6pm to find an open table. Big selection of grilled meat, seafood. Tried their steak, baked oyster, and tacos w/ raw tuna. Very well done, food is delicious. Big selection of wines and mixed drinks. Service is good, place is chill, music is cool.

The Shack is The Bomb!! ????
As a local resident in Koh Samui, I absolutely LOVE u200bthis Steakhouse!
The Shack always has a great vibe, cool music, friendly, efficient staff who speak English very well.
Manager Steve is always very welcoming and runs the place like a well-oiled machine, ensuring everyone is catered for and happy. We have been to The Shack many times over the years and have never been disappointed, the steaks are cooked to perfection!
Ribs that melt in your mouth!
Lamb chops that New Zealand would be proud to serve up.
All meals come with an assortment of sides, salads, coleslaw, potatoes, fries the list goes on u0026 it compliments the main meal perfectly.
You definitely won't leave hungry.
Last but not least, the sauces / gravy is the ultimate topper on these fabulous plates of culinary delights.
I am salivating reflecting on my experiences and can't wait for my next visit!

Make sure to book in advance for a better experience (easy to book through the form on Google). We've been there twice during our time in Koh Samui. Filet mignon is incredible! Meat is melting in your mouth! Loved it! Second time we ate ribs. Yummy! Must go place if you are looking for a decent steak while in Thailand! The staff is lovey-dovey, we're checking on us several times to make sure we are not missing anything. The place has a story, Steve ( the manager), even tho restaurant was jam-packed, was able to spare a couple of minutes to share it with us. The overall vibe is great! Highly recommended!
