So before you search for other schools, just don't. The instructors are knowledgable, experienced, and know all the good spots. The courses or affordable and the shop offers a DISCOVERY course for just a taste of the underwater life. Ask for Rich or Dan, or Justin lol. Just go.

Experience of a lifetime! I did my Open Water Diver, Advanced Open Water Diver, and Nitrox here a few days ago. Absolutely recommend this place!!! They provide a Cozy atmosphere, an Excellent place to meet new friends around the world, and Professional instructors!!!

Just finished a week of open water and advanced open water courses. Booked the day before and they were very accommodating. Small group lessons (no more than 4). Very professional and friendly. Richard Waring (Chips) was my instructor. He's extremely knowledgeable, explains simply and very logically making it easy to understand and pickup. First time to dive and won't be the last. Thanks Scuba Junction!

Scuba J all the way!

Great diving school with dedicated instructors and a friendly and relaxed environment. Quite the opposite of a dive factory, pick Scuba junction if you want quality and fun!

I had an absolutely spectacular experience with the team at Scuba Junction during my recent trip to Koh Tao. They were very accommodating for a short notice group of four getting our open water certification, which actually worked perfectly as they only do four people per group. No dive factory here!
Our dive instructor Craig was awesome, he got us in the water and helped me in particular overcome some early issues with the goggles without any trouble. They space out the skills well, which leaves a good amount of actual time diving: "alright, that's all for skills now let's go for a little swim."
Overall a highly recommended experience. If you're interested in learning to dive in Koh Tao let the folks at Scuba Junction guide you. My only regret was not taking the time to do my advanced as well.

My friend and I had the best experience getting open water certified with Scuba Junction. All of the staff (instructors, admin support, boat crew, dive masters) were extremely friendly and helpful. We received our instruction with Natalie and did two additional dives with Rob afterwards, and both were absolutely fantastic. I felt safe and relaxed throughout the whole time. They had small classes and really great quality gear. It was such a memorable experience and I would not hesitate to recommend Scuba Junction to anyone who wants to learn or go diving in Koh Tao. I did the Open Water course and couldn’t be more pleased. My instructor was James - he was amazing. Super professional, very encouraging, and really, really experienced. Because I was there in low season, I basically got private lessons for four days. I could see other companies with very large groups - I wouldn’t have traded the opportunity to get such high-level, personal instruction for anything!
