The Hillside Bungalows we got had amazing views and a seaview balcony. Cleaning comes everyday, although they don’t clean very thoroughly the whole room and balcony. Amenities are good! I love how they have 2 gyms with adequate equipment. Sunset views around this beach is amazing. We mainly enjoyed because there was not a lot of guests here during covid.

Some staff are quite lazy or pass you without a smile/greeting, but some are friendly and nice. Restaurant and bar and everything else have expensive prices. Beach has a lot of jellyfish and quite rocky.

You don’t have good restaurant choices around this area. So sadly after a few days, we left to stay around Srithanu/Haad Yao for much better food choices.

They are also not very forgiving with late checkout requests. They call you in the room before checkout time, and every few mins after to checkout.

There was construction going on in the resort.

Cocohut Beach Resort

We stayed three nights at this resort and enjoyed our stay. The staff was friendly and helpful, there is a nice lady named Bell that can give you info about what to see and what events are happening during your stay.

Some of the areas and bungalows looked like they could use a little upkeep

We had the included breakfast every morning, a nice selection to choose from and the food was good.

If you exit the resort and walk to the top of the hill you will find local transportation, we used it several times and even had one take us around the island too see the sights.

The hotel is located just outside Had Rin, the small beach town famous for the full moon parties. It's a 5 minutes walk into town. The hotel offers all amenities you could be looking for during a beach holiday. The only negative thing is, that the pool is rather small - which is a bit of a draw back, since the beach is beautiful but swimming in the sea is difficult because the ground is rocky and too shallow for swimming well 200 meters into the sea.

You will find a Spa, pool table, gym and a beach volleyball patch. The breakfast buffet deserves a special mention here, since it offers a huge range of options from Asian to Western - all prepared with skill and love.

I had just a lovely stay here! It has a beautiful beach (arguably the nicest beach we saw on the island) and incredibly friendly staff! It was in a great location with a boardwalk and hike to a viewpoint to look down on Koh Phangan. It was easy to rent a bike to explore the rest too. It’s a greats location if you are looking for a party but you can relax and escape this scene too! With a beach, pool and massage, you can’t go wrong! They also make a mean breakfast!

Best feature was the beach. Great private setting with an amazing view. Rooms were a good size with nice bathroom/shower. Patio was a bonus. Staff seemed slow as I waited at bar area/dining area quite a while before someone took an order, but not a big deal. Half moon party about 25min cab ride away. Same with Amsterdam bar.

Here everything was just awesome and dreamlike.

At first I did not want to come in the end I did not want to go.

(5 minutes to the Fullmoon Party)

☆ Extra delicious and varied breakfast buffet.
Generally an impressive fusion kitchen.

☆ Strong and good cocktails from the attentive guys at the pool bar.

☆ An endless, almost cheesy, clean sand beach that looks like it was invented for a movie.

And the entire staff was friendly and endeavored as if you were part of the family.

Thank you very much, that was the best holiday of my life.
I want, and I have to come back.

The hotel is situated on the south of the island a mere 5 min walk to the beach where the Full Moon and Half Moon parties are held. Please take note of this as the noise travels and should be looking for peace and quiet, this can come as a nasty surprise.

The hotel itself is basic but comfortable. The staff are not well supported with English which can make Communication difficult. The beach is pretty but becomes rocky at low tide and does not look like what one would expect from Thailand.

There is very limited hanging space in the rooms for clothing should you wish to unpack for extended stays. It is close enough to the action to be a great location but is far enough away should you want some quiet.
