The most misleading pictures and ad. The place looks nice from the pictures but you are just being tricked. First of all, the location is not bad, but is quite hard to get to, with angry dogs around. It's a steep drive uphill, and a tight squeeze into the street. Parking is tough to find too. Second of all, the staff leave early. We couldn't book in the first day, as the place was abandoned by 8:30pm (we were to check in by 9pm), and no one was picking up our calls, answering text messages or knocks on the door for half an hour, so ended up having to rent a different room, and I am happy it turned out that way. The next day we checked in, and all I can say is, it is horrible, the most misleading and falsely advertised hotel. The hallway is dark at night, the walls look like it's an abandoned place, inside the paint is coming off in areas, and looks unappealing to sleep in. The bed is hard and uncomfortable. The bathroom does not have a sink, the sink is located inside the bedroom. Overall it is just a big misleading ad, rip off, and is just a joke. Maybe it looked like on the pictures a decade ago, but now it looks like a haunted house. Always check the room before paying and never trust either Agoda or Booking for the picture, a lot of them are just lies and misleads

I was a bit skeptical about booking this place after reading a few bad reviews but honestly our experience was fantastic. We switched hotels from Pariya resort (scam because it’s so far away and need to take expensive water taxis) and came to Suncliff.

Same day booking and the room was great. Incredible views from the balcony! Staff at reception were friendly and helpful.

Beautiful breathtaking location with splendid view of the ocean. Location is just 5 mins away from the haad rin beach, home to the full moon party every month.

Perhaps it was a nice place to stay at a few years ago, but both exterior and rooms look dilapidated now. Rip off for the price. Do not go.

Bed was too squeaky… pink and yellow walls my fav combo. Would stay again with different person.

The room I stayed at had a great view with a hammock at the balcony. It included a working fridge which was a bonus. It is a bit of a walk from the beach, but I consider that a good thing since it is further from the booming music.
Only complaint I have is that the bed sheets had a lot of animal fur on them. I noticed it after reception had already closed so I just ended up getting fur all over the clothes I slept in.
I booked the triple room that allows for 3 adults to stay.

Great deal for the price! I was pleasantly surprised with the cleanliness of the room we got. there's a lovely balcony, fridge, cable. We also really enjoyed the pool area every day. It overlooks the ocean and they have food and drinks. You can't bring in outside food to the pool area fyi. the location is great as well.
