All the people here are very nice. Our suite was kept impeccably clean. Wifi in the rooms is great. The bathrooms in particular were very upscale. All areas of the hotel are very clean. The Internet was quite fast (16 mbps) for an island where I expected less. The rooms are extremely well appointed.

You will definitely get a great night sleep here. The value for money is amazing. The air conditioner was working extremely well. A couple of blocks from the best shopping ever. I were impressed with the cleanliness of the hotel. The rooms are very clean. We will definitely be back again.

As we arrived there was no one speaking a proper English. We checked in and the rooms smelled like mold. They offered us new rooms. So far so good.
The rooms were clean and big but there are no windows. During the night the main road is pretty noisy.
It's an easy breakfast: coffee, hot water for tea or instant coffee, bread for toasting, watermelon and pineapple slices. The breakfast table was full with micro ants and the coffee cups are dirty. The old coffee remains in the pot until the next day.
You have to take off your shoes when you enter the place. For me that is not a problem but it was when when I saw the lady cleaning the common area and throwing all the dirt on the shoes outside.
Making up the room: They don't clean it properly.
BUT: for budget travellers it's a good place.

Perfect for couples who like to walk and explore. The rooms were up to my standards of clean. Can not say enough about how much we enjoy the entire facility. The public transport connection is excellent. Most people are willing to accommodate your needs. The value for what you pay per night is outstanding.

Good hotel in the mid-range. Really friendly staff. Minus points for the location, it's a bit out of the way and not near a beach. If you book a room, make sure to get one facing the forest as others have pointed out -- these rooms are super quiet and nice as they're facing away from the main road on Koh Lanta. N.D. Place also offers a laundry service and can help you rent vehicles for your stay.

Rooms are clean and nice, not new but not terribly worn either. There's a hot shower, mini fridge, and toiletries and towels are supplied. Wifi is pretty good throughout the hotel and seems very stable. There's no wired connection.

The proximity to the main town Saladan (near the north pier) is the main selling point for N.D. place in my opinion.

The hotel is perfectly placed in the center of all there is to do. Take advantage of the excellent public transportation. The size of the room is ok for us without any big luggage. The amenities in the room leaves nothing to be desired. The hotel was opened at -2014/15 and is very, very fresh.

Stayed here for 4 nights with a 7 month old baby. We had a room with a king bed, a crib and a balcony facing the forest. Try to request a room with a view; its lovely! The room is very spacious, very clean and the a/c+ fan combo works great in the hot and humid Thailand weather. Wifi is great in the room and the hotel is peaceful. There is no restaurant in the hotel and there is no pool or beach access. The hotel is about 1 km from the pier so make sure you don't get overcharged by taxi or scooter tuktuks (you can pay 80 baht but they will ask for 400 so bargain your price). The hotel is walking distance to the pier area where there are many restaurants. Try the restaurants facing the ocean, they have nice views in the morning (Kinnaree had a breakfast buffet for 150/person) and a nice breeze at night. Nearby, there is also a market (Lanta Plaza), many places to rent scooters (which I highly recommend to explore the island and its many beaches... 150-200 per day. We did this with a baby in his carrier and we felt very safe here) and across the street (about 150 m towards the pier) there is a foresty area where you can see monkeys at dusk. Buy some bananas from one of the stands and walk away from the street to feed the monkeys. It is frown upon to feed the monkeys so don't feed them while standing in the street. They are wild animals so don't tease them and don't let them come to close to you.

Room Tip: ask for a view to the forest
