Restaurant is on the main street. It is noisy and dusty but the seating still cozy and inviting. The German food is pretty good. Limited menu items, which I consider a good thing. Makes sure the food you order is fresh. The place seems popular with Germans and tourists alike. Prices are on Bangkok level, means too high but the portions are big and that might be worth it for you. You have a bit of a wait fit your order, which I consider a positive as it indicates your food is prepared fresh and not pre cooked. Try the Currywurst. The Bratkartoffeln are also pretty decent, they come with the Schnitzel for instance. The cake is better than most home made cakes in Thailand, not on German level though. The toilets are spotless and smell nice, some of the cleanest I have seen in Thailand. Overall all the small gripes are not holding me back to visit it again. Yes, some parts could improve but full recommendation for someone with a healthy appetite or some German fellow missing certain food. Try it yourself!

Don't even think about going to eat somewhere else in koh lanta! Really fresh and tasty food, especially if you miss western food. The cheesecakes are one of a kind in thailand :) very nice and kind owner
Prices are completely okay for the big size of the food and even cheap compared to the restaurants at the beach

Thai hospitality is always warm and welcoming but the staff here are not only that but they are also extremely attentive and seem trained professionally.
The owner is a wonderful expat who talks with each customer to be sure they are happy. The food is fabulous and fresh and everything we had knocked our socks off.
Great place to visit to clean your pallet and reset for more delicious Thai food later. Breakfast was great and I’m sure lunch would be the same.

5 stars is not enough for Nang Sabai German Bakery, I would give this place an exceptional 6 stars. It is fantastic, one of the best breakfasts I've had in Thailand and at a very reasonable price. The staff and the owner are lovely and very welcoming. Phenomenal!

Extremely friendly and cosy, reminds me so much of Germany, really well maintained and managed, delicious food and great (German speaking!!!) Staff. Would definitely recommend for Germans and anyone wanting to try some typical German dishes / breakfasts for really good prices.

When your already two weeks away from whole wheat bread from Germany this is your rescue! I came directly from Chiang Mai to this place and felt kind of reborn after my exhausting journey.
The staff and the boss are very very warmhearted people. The boss gave us a lot of good advices for our stay in koh lanta. She took herself a lot of time, to show us hotspots on a map.
I tried the fried potatoes with fried egg, the bread and a sandwich. Everything was so so tasty! When you're not into bakery the coffee and cappuccino is also to recommend. Furthermore I bought some buns for take away. So I enjoyed two more days with good good German bakery. I didn't tried the cakes, but they looked very delicious. I will give it a try on my way back.
To put it in a nutshell I totally recommend this place!!!!!!!

We had a quick coffee and croissant stop here. The owner was very friendly while talking to each table and she invited some backpackers in to use the wifi without ordering.
The coffee was okay but our croissant had to much salt for our taste. The other staff were friendly and provided good service.
