Island retreat perfect for tourists, expats on a quick getaway, or SE Asia travellers who need a little break from hostel life.

Morakot itself is tucked away opposite to the beach in a lush little jungle cove which ensures it remains quiet from night life and backpacker style hostels. Long Beach, the most beautiful on the island, is only a quick five minute walk across the street on a shady path.
The family who runs Morakot is extremely friendly, and we booked everything (day trips, motor bike, ferry) directly through the hotel.

As an expat living in Chiang Mai, I am used to Thai styles and the wide variety of hotels, their quality and prices. Morakot Lanta Resort was exactly what I was looking for on my quick beach vacation.

The room was large, clean, with western style restroom and shower, and included all the usual amenities.
The Wi-Fi was reliable and the aircon extremely effective.
The pool was gorgeous and open at
your convenience.

We will be coming back to Koh Lanta, and we will be staying at Morakot everytime!

Stayed here two times and honestly best chill out place me and my partner have visited great rooms great service just so enjoyable, and they recognized (big beard) really looking forward to going back soon!! Need to email about the room number we stayed in because it was amazing!  ขอบคุณ ครับ u003d)

We stayed here for 7 nights. The staff is helpful and friendly. The room was clean and very comfortable and reasonably priced. The pool was really great and the banana and coconut shakes were the best I'd had in Thailand. The resort is only a 10 minute walk from the beach. Renting a motorbike from the resort was easy and fun. The food was good too.

We spent here 3nights, we been very satisfied with this hotel , room has access to pool , room was very clean , wifi signal strong. staff was very friendly, we also rent a scooter at reception for 200thb per day .

It is a very good hotel air con is really good the rooms are big it is clean bed is big and they have been nice enough to accept to cancel the rest of my booking since I m pregnant and unfortunately the bed was too hard for me. I didn t care before but now I have back pain because of baby but still it is very good hotel

Clean, well equipped room. You get big fridge, electric kettle, TV, quiet air-conditioning. Nice swimming pool. Only disadvantage is that the hotel is on other side of the road then the long beach but this is small problem since you need to walk only 5 min.
