Very good place if you are on a cheap budget, clean and nice hot shower. I would recommend this place if you intend to spend the day enjoying the island, not chilling in your room. Some rooms must be quieter than others given the busy road in front of the house.
The walk to the beach is super easy and safe, many food options around.
The owner was lovely and super helpful, make sure to ask for Sree as the other persons do not speak English.

We stayed in a new room, which was great, industrial-designed and located in the backyard - felt like having a private apartment. The owner Ree is extremely helpful and very nice to talk to, she can arrange trips, transport for you. Excellent choice if you came to work in KoHub. Close to the beach, laundry next door.

Grand house is a nice cozy place situated 10 mins from long beach. The rooms are clean and the owner is very sweet.
There are plenty of small restaurants walk able from the hotel and a bike rental right across the road.

Ok for the price, but you would be better of at some hostles if you want it clean.
We stayed here for 3 nights and there was a dad fly on the floor when we arrived... and when we left ;-)
Also the tiles in the shower were a bit dirty. The deduction of points is due to the wobbly beds (you may feel like on a boat) and the missing room service; white towels were not changed, had already stains on them, smelled weired after first usage + no new toilet paper. We asked the cleaning lady if we might get new towels and she smiled and said yes, but there were non afterwards. We did get new ones on the last night...
The lady at the reception downstairs was very nice and she would have 4.5 stars. But she didn't understood everything in english, communication went well anyway.
We rented a scooter from her, actually several ones and didn't need to leave the passport (very good!!!) with her. The scooters had seen better days but had no mentionable damages except on non working fuel and speed indicators.
Overall ok for the money, but our room had seen better days. Btw showering was a bit difficult due to no pressure, water was hot though.

We booked a room for one night. One evening before we arrived I got a message that there is a "problem" with our room, something about the oil pipe. I asked if they have another room for uns and the said "sure we have". When we arrived the next evening at 8:30pm as we told them, owner was like "oh you are here I thought you cancelled", than she made some calls and her husband drove us to the other site of the island to another hotel without even asking! We choose this place because it was near our Coworking space where we wanted to work the next day. Next morning, nobody was available to drive us back, they offered us a tuktuk instead (with all our luggage) so we had to arrange something by ourselves. It took us until 2pm to get away and to the place we intended to stay next (they arranged transport for us). We think that they just didn't want to have us for just one night so they gave the room to someone else who wanted to stay longer. Absolute disaster, that was our worst hotel experience ever, and we travel a lot.

Loved this place, would definitely stay here again if we go back.

Bed was a little firm but wasn't too much of a bother, can't expect too much for a budget hotel.

The lady we were dealing with, I believe her name was Ree, was a delight and I already miss her!

We stayed for 1 month the service was top class. The staff could not help enough with any problems. Room very clean and house keeping good. For the price it's a bargain.
