This place was awesome! It’s not a 5 star resort, but it’s clean and has everything you want! 1) The price is great for what you get. When we said we wanted to stay a week, they gave us a discount. 2) The people/ family who run the place are kind, friendly and hospitable. 3) the resort is right on the beach which is stunning in its view but also has amazing snorkelling! I went everyday and saw amazing fish, eels, coral, shrimp etc. You don’t need to pay for a fancy tour, just go right here. 4) the pool is wonderful 5) the restaurant is great and decently priced 6) you can easily rent a motorbike from the motel, book ferries and tours as well 7)within walking distance (2 min) is a 7-11, other restaurants, shake/milk tea stand etc. 8) the rooms are simple, but clean. They have mini fridges, kettle, coffee and all basic amenities.

We came here for sunset since they have a great view and comfortable seating, the service was great, cocktails were good and the beer was ice cold. There wasn’t too many other people since it is low season but it was still very nice

Spacious triple room (#1), closest to pool. Nothing fancy but comfortable. Appreciated the large fridge, inside sitting area and outside patio. AC broke but was fixed promptly during our 7-day stay. Good for kids, with a mix of local and foreign families. We were never sure about the restaurant offerings as the sign was only in Thai. They looked to be serving food, but no alcohol available. You could stock up at the nearby 7-11 easily though.

Nice sea view, but you can swim because of the rock beach.

Room is too old, but the toilet is new and clean.

We stayed here for about 4 nights in 2019. View of the beach from the restaurant was amazing. The sound shack bar was great with reggae music in the afternoon. We liked the bar because it was more relaxed than the other bars up the beach. We had excellent beach-side massages. There is also an amazing beach a short walk with a little shack where they sell drinks and delicious Thai food.

My room was basic but large. The rooms were cleaned everyday upon request. I enjoyed relaxing by the pool and looking out to the ocean. Staff were helpful. It was a perfect place for me to stay on a budget. Food and massages on site and locally were not the best value but I think typical for the island.
