Hi, my wife and I tested positive for Covid-19 on antigen test and contacted this clinic. Within the day they had taken our PCR test. They have helped us through the process and we find the staff kind and thorough. We would recommend this service.

This clinic does its best to accomodate to my request. The staff helping the doctors there do not speak english but he calls the doctors on the phone so there is no issue there. I went there for my pre-departure swab test and certificate was given in english.

Received great service for our 9 years old daughter today.
She came in with ear problems - and they really took good care of her.
They needed to use suction in the ears and it can be very painful. The female doctor was great with our daughter and the experience was good - all considered.
We have also been to the south clinic but absolutely recommend this one for everyone.
We didn’t see any prices - everything was covered directly with our insurance.
Great service and very friendly.

I had a burn from a motorbike muffler. It was 5 days old, and I’d been keeping it sterilized and covered, but I wanted to make sure it looked ok and was healing properly.

I was seen immediately at Take Care by a nurse and a doctor. They spoke good English and were very nice! They cleaned and re-dressed my wound and gave some tips on how to keep it clean and healthy as it heals. All-in-all, the cleaning, advice, and some new antibacterial cream was 1000 Baht, which I think was reasonable.

Was in need of an urgent X Ray when clinics in Lanta were closed during height of covid. Although listed as closed, I called Take Care and was answered by the owner/doctor who kindly agreed to open especially for me.
Very kind.
There are only a couple of clinics in Lanta with an X Ray machine and the other is currently well and truly closed so I am most grateful to Take Care for opening especially for me.

Free pickup from all west coast. Easy cooperation with my insurance agency (they gave me even call them on Skype as my phone was low on battery). Very friendly and talkative personnel. Good quality of wound cleaning. No problem with the clinic whatsoever.

MARGINAL MEDICAL CARE AT EXCESSIVE, PREDATORY PRICES

Mechanism of injury was a motorbike accident. As an EMT in the US I expected more. With this MOI a head to toe exam should be done to look for other injuries and avoid tunnel vision on the chief complaint which was left knee pain. We were both in severe pain as I could not put any weight on my leg and the upper leg felt as if was not attached to the lower leg since the knee was so unstable. At Take Care the DR spoke to us in the waiting room, never moved us to an exam room, never took vitals, and simply took us to the xray machine. After the x-ray we were sent back to the waiting room. No broken bones just ligament damage. Another patient came in and the DR was done with us never to be seen again. The wounds were not cleaned, in fact I had to ask the cashier to give us some gauze so we could do it ourselves.

This part is reasonable the next part is the preying on vulnerable people that can't walk. We need to buy crutches since we couldn't walk and we needed medications since we couldn't get to a pharmacy

Patient 1- 2 wooden crutches 3000 baht ( 95 USD) Aluminum crutches on Amazon cost 20 USD
Patient 2 - 1 crutch 1500 baht ( 47 usd)
Patient 1- 10 tabs ultracet 800 Baht ( 25 USD) Found out later these are a few dollars over the counter in the pharmacy
Patient 2 - 20 tabs brustan 600 Baht ( 19 USD)

We needed meds the next day and called for help getting a prescription. The DR sold us more meds for 3400 Baht ( 108 USD). Later bought similar products for 8 usd.

Also asked him to order a knee brace which he did. He sent the picture of it when it arrived and said they would be delivering it but they never followed through.

I feel that the clinic overcharged us because they knew we didn't have any other options. We needed meds and crutches right now so the prices were hiked up excessively.

When we were looking at clinics we ( like everyone else) checked the Google reviews and noticed the 4.8 out of five rating. If you look a little closer 25 of the 61 reviews are from two years ago from local people talking about the great new clinic. So it appears that 40% of the reviews are from family and friends that he asked to do reviews advertising his new business venture.
