Amazing place to stay! Just off a main street, we couldn't ask for a better location. Place was super, super clean and the water pressure is amazing. Really lovely and very safe. The host was also incredibly friendly and helpful (booked a bus for us and recommended restaurants nearby.) Would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Phuket and looking for a comfortable, safe, and convenient place to stay.

What do you generally look for in a guest house ? Let me tell you what I think about before I book a room.

1. It must b clean.
2. It must be easily accessible.
3. It must be near to the main market.
4. It must be modern looking unless the place has a theme.

Believe me or not this place has everything. On top of it, the staff is really friendly and helpful, they can also help you in booking the tours, taxi and a ferry.

I had an amazing time, staying at this place :) Thank you for the great hospitality.

I LOVED THIS PLACE. You can stay in Hotel away from Home, but can never find a Home in a Hotel. Everything about the Hotel is great. None actually stays in room while in Phuket. Even much before arrival, Dev (owner) helped me with my booking, at the time of check-in, even while checking out he offered us to rest in his tailoring showroom, offered tea and helped with every detail for the sight-seeing too. You can never leave the hotel with a heavy heart. Its safe, rooms are aptly stuffed n designed, water in bathroom, cleanliness, everything. Brownie points for Hang-Hang, the pup. She was super cute, and i really hope she remembers me in the next visit. Def wud recommend it to every one among friends n family travelling to phuket. 10 stars for the hotel

I stayed here for nearly two weeks while on vacation. The owner and staff are superb and their tour guide services are on point. The location is just next to Bangla Road and accessible by tour van to all the major tourist sites in Phuket. The bathrooms were a bit rustic but my experiences in other hotels in the area indicated this was normal. Great cleaning service and privacy to do as you see fit. Will visit this place again if I happen to be in Phuket in the future.

STAY AWAY. SCAM OWNER! Room was reserved a month in advance. But owner double booked the room and sent me across the street to his friends dump, Rayaan Guesthouse, on the day of check in. Incurred bed bug bites, unchanged sheets, condoms and blood on the floor, and a gaping hole on the wall. No refunds from owner. Furthermore, Made me wait at his tailor shop for several hours before delivering the news that the room was double booked. If you go during peak season, I'm warning you that your stay is not guaranteed. This owner takes cash from random walk-ins to avoid paying agoda fees. And will not hesitate to cancel your stay.

We stayed two nights at Star Guest House, must say its our best stay in thailand. A very friendly staff and clean room, central location 2 mins walk to nightlife, mall and the beach. Will certainly be back when in Phuket again.

Price is really cheap. The room also value for the price. Staff also OK
