This was my return visit to Blue Sky. The first time was great but in two years no maintenance has been done. It is now awful. We booked two rooms and asked for quiet but were placed on the road and the noise was horrendous. They promised us four days running that they would move us to a quieter room but it never happened. The mattresses on the beds are overdue for replacement, there was a mould farm in the bathrooms, in 10 days the bathrooms were not cleaned once, the reception desk are very unhelpful (would talk in there own language in front of you which was Rude), and we're not interested in providing any solutions to our problems. There was also a large rat running around the restaurant two nights running. Stay elsewhere until the place is updated.

The location wasn’t bad, 3 blocks from the beach maybe 10-15 min walk to Patong Beach. The receptionist was friendly but did take longer to register me. There’s also a 1,000 baht deposit per guest which they give you back when you check out. The first room she gave me had a faulty lock and couldn’t be opened. The second room worked fine. In the room it was a little dirty/old but the bed and towels were clean. The price was very cheap so I don’t regret my stay. There’s also a breakfast buffet for 100 baht which isn’t bad. I would stay here again if I’m on a tight budget.

The receptionist kept us waiting for too long without bothering to inform us of any update during check in. They could have told us the cleaning would take 1-2 hours so we can go about our business and come back later. Instead, we waited there, expecting a 15/30 mins wait, ended waiting for more than 2 hours. We followed up every 30 mins just to be dismissed and to wait again.

Another thing, they have water problem when I was there. Yet, they don't bother to inform the guests. When I was in shower, the water supply stopped. I immediately went to receptionist to ask about it and only then I was informed of such problem. It was about 10pm after whole day trips. That's just terrible.

We are a guest of 2. There was only 1 towel provided. When asked a out it, they said the laundry day is tomorrow and they don't have enough clean towels to provide.

My recommendation, if u haven't paid or haven't booked, go for a different hotel.

Its ok for the price.
Location is great.
Room was very spacious, facing the mountain so have no complains about the sound.
Aircon was working perfectly fridge also good.

What I didn’t like was
Toilet blinds was covered in mould. Large rats running outside just beside the reception.
Also poor customer service.

Reasonable 2* Hotel with very friendly and attentive reception staff. Mostly clean rooms but pretty common to return to reception for some shortcomings as no batteries in the safety box, drippling ac or not enough towels. Do not expect any improvements as the management confirmed repeatedly that all rooms get a proper check before customers arrival.
Decent priced in low season but far too pricey during high season.
All mainroad faced rooms pretty noisy all day/ night long.

Rooms weren't cleaned properly, with stains all over. The place seemed very run-down. Pictures didn't match the actual product a single bit. Customer service was extremely bad! The staff merely laughed at us when we complained about the place. No possibility of a refund, either through the reservation website nor from the hotel itself. The staff also seemingly gave false information to the reservation website when we attempted to deal with a refund and changing hotels. Absolutely not recommended.

Our family had a wonderful time here. The facilities were a high standard and the staff were beautiful and thoughtful. If you don't like stairs, then do not stay here as there are a few because of no lifts. This did not deter us, we had a wonderful time thankyou.
If you want to rent a car in Phuket, the Orange car Phuket is the only option(quickly found in google)
