Best quality and delicious food in a great setting with wonderful hosts. We had a lovely evening at DAR restaurant - Celina, the Chef, advised with our order and even cooked something that wasn’t on the menu at our request. Our two children were happy to sit on the swings at the bar while we enjoyed our delicious food. This place is a jewel in Hua Hin, it deserves a visit! You will be in good hands with Celina and Rocky :-)

Had a delicious dinner at DAR restaurant tonight with my family. The restaurant is a testament to the resilience of young promising chef Selina and husband Rocky (and parents of 2 young kids). Running their restaurant on a barebones team of only the two of them due to Covid still presenting some of the most delicious Thai food and deserts in Huahin. Their personal attention, charm and appreciation towards their customers is just heartwarming.
If you are around. Give them a try. They deserve your support.

DAR is the best hands down restaurant in hua hin and Thailand. Family home cooked meals...new location... food made to order with love. Coming here for years and it's the best- family run, support this lovely restaurant and family- chef Selina, husband Rocky best bartender in country, and their charming kids, we all crave it living in Bangkok ????

We came to this restaurant last night . Chef and our staff in there is very good service . The most important things are not MSG with every foods to serve. Feel good with good food. We will come back again. Cheer!!!

We liked everything very much: the atmosphere, decoration, quiet jazz in the background, the waiter is very professional, the food is delicious and the portions are big, we will definitely be back.

This restaurant run by charming young couples, she is a very talented chef. He makes a great margarita.
Seating both inside and out.
Have eaten there probably 6 times, food always great quality and delicious.
Has vegetarian options, lots of seafood, homemade desserts. Very accommodating, not on menu but told us has pasta and can make dishes on request.
Only reason not given 5 stars is they did not have AC on as standard. Did offer to put on inside.

An absolute must to dine and enjoy this restaurant in Hua Hin. The traditional Thai and classic Western food is amazingly prepared by the lovely chef and proprietor Celina. Husband Rock makes awesome cocktails and caters to all with an energetic smile. I would say this restaurant and experience is a rare find anywhere. Adding to this review months later, they've fixed up the place so the atmosphere is nicer now. The Tiger Prawn was so good I came back and they served it a different way for me to try.. So, delicious
