I consider it to be a 2 star hotel basically due to the lack of verbal communication in both Malay and English.... understandably Hatyai receives lots of foreign visitors so language is important for staffs. I resorted to googling pictures to make myself understood. However, the hotel is clean even though the rooms are in a time frame of their own ???? . Breakfast is simple and non-buffet style. The in-house massage service is ok for the price they charge. The hotel is a little away from the center but if you enjoy walking then it's ok for you, otherwise there seem to be a tuk-tuk ready in front of the hotel ????

Not far from town centre about 10 minutes walk away, nice, quiet, very clean, fantastically friendly staffs and helpful. The room are quite big for this price range, everything you need is there. Over the years this is the only hotel I checked into without fail. I assured you, you will never regret staying here.

Reasonably priced under RM 100, ten minutes walk to Kim Yong mkt, Lee Gardens buffet and street hawkers and shops in town. Staff is friendly and helpful. WiFi available in room. Room is reasonably clean and TV has a few dozen channels with a few channels in English and Chinese.
About ten minutes by toot toot van for 20 baht to nearby places like Central Festival shopping mall, big C, Tesco, makro and ASEAN night market.

Cozy room, big refrigerator, router in the room, aircond 2.0hp.

Nice staff and love the rocking chair.

A bit far from shopping centre -10 min walking

2nd Review (stayed in August 2017)
So after 6 months, I am back to this hotel my family member. This time around, I booked a family room for 4 people.

Here's my two cents of my 2nd experience with Greenview Hotel:-
What’s best about this hotel
1. Ample car park and still a nice place to park with someone watching at night
2. Still, it is clean surrounding the hotel and the room.
3. Still, very pleasant, helpful and attentive staff
4. Free WiFi and at where we stay at Level 3 (the family room is also here, the signal was strong. Nevertheless, I guess it depends on how far of your room from the WiFi router.
5. I believe it was a reasonable price compared to others for a family room (of 4).
6. Obviously, spacious family room!

NEW improvement for past 6 months (which I am glad and happy to see it, kudos to the management):-
1. They improved the entrance to the restaurant with lights up indicating the restaurant is open. Glad to see this improvement.
2. There is a convenient corner setup for you to buy drinks and snacks, which is a great idea (esp. at night).
3. The hotel setup a Tour Desk to provide advise and assist visits/ tour arrangement. I am yet to use it but I think it is a great initiative.

Room for improvements
1. Still, the hotel needs to think of how to highlight thermal flask / hair dryer which can be borrowed at the reception. Better still, maybe it is about time to think of installing hair dryer and provide electric kettle starting from family room?
2. Providing complimentary 3-in-1 coffee u0026 tea in the room would be a plus point.
3. Add some decoration inside and additional greenery surrounding the hotel.

I love this place, because of the privacy, cheap and also has bath tub. Overall it's good. I will definitely stay here if I come to Hatyai again.

Old, think old only, everywhere from the foyer to the rooms to the dining room. Poor water pressure, dirty bedding, dust. Go elsewhere. 120 baht for breakfast is a rip off.
