Bangsaen Heritage Hotel

The building I stayed has three stories but no elevator at all. And yes, I was on the third! You just have to be a muscular customer if you are to carry luggages yourself or just wait for bell boy guys who are not readily available.

The room are old but clean and well maintained. Things are working properly.
Swimming pool are just for when you don't know where to go.
Fitness are well equipped.
Location on the beach is perfect.

The positive first. It's very close to the beach, just across the big Street and you are there, your can't get closer to it.
We stayed in a villa in a wonderful garden area. Really beautiful, you can hear the street a bit but not much. Plenty of birds and geckos create a nice soundscape.

Now onto the bad. Small room, old furniture, horrible bath, dirty outside area with plenty of cigarette buds. Black mold and even a centipede in the shower. We were off the main season and in the week and I would not pay the same in western Europe for such a room. Let alone the full 100€ price which is just frankly ridiculous.

2 stars as the outside is wonderful.

We went to the first time in here . I am very highly recommended to book from Agoda is better . The room isn't completely clean some hair on the floor and in the bathroom. The hotel is very huge when compare with other around the Bangsaen beach area. Swimming pool is quite big . The high is 1.30.meter. One big slider in this pool. Opposite this hotel is the Bangsaen beach.

Nice huge resort with pool and restaurant...very spread out. Service was good and staff helpful. Only issue was the rooms were a bit musty ... airing them for 1hr fixed the issue. Location is great...just cross the road and you are at the beach

Yellowish running water!!! The hotel sent the technician to check and said no complaint received from this building but there is one from another building. And told to let the water drain for a while to get it clear, so we drained it for an hour, did not help.
The hotel offered a new room, we asked them to check and make sure that the new room doesn't have the same water problem.
After a long 20 minutes wait at almost 11 pm, we called again, then they said the new room was fine. We asked to see the room first, as expected, the same yellowish water!!!
Follow up needed to make sure that the yellow water used was up to standards and safe for use.
When checked out, I asked for the explaination. As expected, Nothing...
The morning staff asked me to write a report on the problem we got. What!?? The hotel like this doesn't have any guess complaint/reported problem record and no follow up procedures!
I asked for a manager, the front staff said the manager is in a meeting.
Well, nothing more to say about this hotel. NOT RECOMMEDED, BAD QUALITY, POOR SERVICES.

The rooms are great but not so big, The breakfast (branch) is amazing, It has a rich European and asian kitchen, our stay included a great dinner, The location is near the lovely beach and an amazing sunset could be watched there, on weekends the beach is packed,
Overall its a quiet huge and pleasant place.

Excellent location!
The bungalow is a bit old, but worth very reasonable price. Also nice natural atmosphere around the bungalow. A little far from the lobby and breakfast restaurant, but electric cart service available.
