Cool place. I am very glad that Thailand has such a respectful attitude towards its rich culture. The entire territory of the temple looks very beautiful and well-kept. The skill and imagination of the sculptors amazes me. The entrance ticket costs 100 baht, and also at the entrance, all visitors are given a bottle of water along with the ticket. You can also get to the other side of the river by boat for just 5 baht. I recommend to try to see the beauty of the temple when you cross the river by boat.

One of the iconic temple with a very unique design. The temple located next to the river. We travel there by cruise from icon Siam to there is about 30 baht single ticket.

We love the temple. Its beauty is timeless. One of a must visit place when you are in Bangkok :)))

This temple is the highlight of Bangkok and maybe Thailand, and rightly so. The site is compact, so during busy tourist hours, it gets very crowded. Better visit early in the morning or just right before sunset as the air is more chill. There aren’t any roof so if it gets rained, then… oh well.

I wish there are more stories about the temple other than just a paragraph or two posted outside the temple.

Words can't describe this majestic structure. Breathtaking architecture all around you. Difficult not to gape in awe. Absolutely on the Bangkok must visit lists.

Easily reached by boat. 100 baht fee which goes to maintenance. I suggest combining with Wat Pho on the opposite side of the river.

Wat Arun is a very beautiful temple in the heart of Bangkok. You can reach the temple easily and cheaply by boat. Tourists pay a small entrance fee, but that is perfectly okay. The grounds are very well maintained and clean. It really is one of the most beautiful places in Bangkok.

Absolute stunner and a highlight of Bangkok! After visiting the Grand Palace and stopping for lunch at Thong Heng Lee restaurant (highly recommend) by the river, we took a riverboat (30 bahts) over to Wat Arun. You could definitely walk but it was cool to view the city from the river. Despite the scattering of tourists, it was actually really peaceful with the wind chimes tinkling in the background. Entrance to Wat Arun is 100 bahts per person and even includes a cheeky, much needed little bottle of water. We think it’s best to go around afternoon time as it’s less busy, bit cooler and the sun is less intense plus can catch a pretty epic sunset. 10/10 ⭐️

Absolutely blessed to be able to come here this trip. It was under renovation during our previous trip.
We came by taking a nice long walk to the temple and left via boat.
The staffs at the pier are very polite and helpful to guide tourists to the right boats.

The temple is breathtakingly beautiful. It’s serene and peaceful for prayers. Would be respectful if more tourists could understand that this is a holy place and not primarily intended for instagram poses. The temple store carries some amulets while some pre-orders are opened for upcoming temple event. Gorgeous outdoor garden and river view.
