It’s the worst hotel ever. Avoid at all cost.

BEWARE !! The police just left. The hotel staff or cleaner stole our money. We had it locked inside the bag. When we reported to the reception, no help was given.

Asked for a manager or a person in charged, but the reception said theres no manager. Cleaner live too far, cant contact and cant do anything according to reception. No cctv, so the police cant check anything.

Room are way too old. Unfriendly u0026 unhelpful staff. Over-priced as well.

Not clean, found the last guest hair on floor and desk.

Rusty metal bars, rusty dirty hangers

Wood on cupboard, all doors, table,chairs are either broken, worn out or rotting.

Whole hotel is creepy, as if its haunted. So far we sighted no one at all except me and my partner.

Windows cannot be locked, anyone can come in at anytime.

With all reasons given i would never return to this hotel and never return to pattaya in general because this has ruined my holiday.

I hope this will never happen to anyone else.

The good: Wi-Fi connection was decent, bilingual tv was nice, housekeepers were absolutely lovely, and breakfast was included in room fee and had eggs, fresh fruit, bacon, and French toast.
The bad: front desk woman and breakfast
waitress were very rude and short during every interaction, room was old, dingy, and over priced for what it was, bathroom reeked like old warm urine, lots of spiders and ants in the room (no other place we stayed at in Thailand had this problem), shower has no lip and is level with the floor so you have to lay down towels to keep water from spilling all over the bathroom floor while you shower, and electricity only works when you keep the room key in a slot on the wall (they will only give you one) so no way to leave phones charging or the Air conditioner on when you leave. Air conditioner is weak and does not work well during the day anyway, coming back after a day out the room feels hotter than outside.
Had a good location on walking street, there are many other options for hotels along this street, would NOT recommend Lido Beach to anyone. I

It was my first hotel on my first visit to Pattaya without having done any research beforehand! The staff are friendly but the amenities are just too shabby for the THB 1,600 price tag. I soon found out that there are much better hotels at half the price! Such a high premium for being close to Walking Street is not justified at all. Stay here if you can haggle the price down to less than THB 500.

The hotel is in a perfect position, in the evening you can just walk few meters and you get into the walking street of Pattaya!
but the beach in this side of Pattaya its not so good.
ROOMS: bathrooms are ok, rooms are ok..
but there is noise for the clima (windows dont close so you hear all the outside machine) and the worst: BREAKFAST SUCK!

Good experience, friendly helpful staff, breakfast was ok...clean tidy place, across d road from beach u0026 50m from the glitzy "walking street". No lifts or pool but on the pricier side for such accommodation 3☆...☺

Pretty nice hotel u0026 close 2 Walking St (if that's wot U want) but U betta stay there alone 'coz the rooms aren't big enuff 2 cope with your dog as well. Especially the bath rooms.
