I stayed in room 518 for two nights and was comfortable with this place. The room is big and smells okay, has cool ac, a television with international programs. Fridge, hair dryer, cloth hangers are pretty good enough. The hotel seems old but stays clean. The toilets at downstairs and the 3rd floor are dry and clean though the soap and handkerchief are not high quality. Staffs are very helpful. There is 7-11 nearby which is very convenient. There is a swimming pool but I didn’t check cuz I was busy with business and snorkeling trip.

Just stayed here and I’m actually really curious about the people giving this place 5 stars. Staff wasn’t friendly. Breakfast was horrible. Most importantly, this place is utterly deceiving. Do not book here based on the pictures online. They’re clearly from when they opened 20 years ago. This place is run down and it’s like they don’t care to upgrade. I was so reluctant to stay because I felt so uncomfortable I wanted to leave. Thank God it was only 2 nights. The only thing keeping them afloat is the sea-view and location. The bar next door is the highlight of this place. Upgrades needed now or great place if you don’t care much about your accommodations. DO NOT LET THE ONLINE PHOTOS TRICK YOU!

My wife and I have been to the Grand Jomtien palace Hotel. Seven times. We stayed there on our wedding Anniversaries. As well for different various Other occasions. We absolutely enjoy are stay while being there. The rooms are clean and the hotel staff are absolutely Very friendly, wonderful greeting you at the door holding the door open for you whenever you enter or leave. Everyone of the staff Are so kind and courteous towards you. The breakfast is absolutely delicious with many entrees they they offer for you to choose from. My wife and I we always enjoy the seaview room in which we stay in. The staff members are the most wonderful kind people we enjoy. Whenever we arrive at the Grand Jomtien Palace Hotel they always remember my wife and I. Whenever we Return to the hotel For our stay. It takes us 9 and a 1/2 hours to drive to the hotel but it is worth every minute of the drive. To Arrive at the Hotel For our stay there. We are always excited To arrive at the hotel for our stay.

Nice room with great sea views. Convenient location. Breakfast very poor. Service indifferent and none of the usual Thai warmth and friendliness.

Stayed 2 nights April 2022. Great hotel. Beachfront. Many good cheap restraunts nearby. Fantastic pool friendly staff. Definitely be back.

Spectacular view. The girls working behind the reception would be an asset to any company that employs them. Location is close to everything you will need!

The good -
The staff was nice
The bar was nice
Quiet

Location is ok , nothing special

The BAD-
Worst bed I ever slept on. I could feel every spring. The shower head and shower need an update terribly, at least the shower head. Towels were old. A/c works but is slow with an old set up. I have a couple days on my reservation and at this point am considering it a loss and will move hotels. I hope someone renovates this hotel soon , it has potential.
