My Dad and I came in yesterday and wow. Every minute of it was amazing.
To start, yes it is a more expensive place, but you don’t just pay for the food. You’re paying for the service, experience and the ‘show’ you get.
Our chef was William and I hope for the sake of everyone you get him too. His comedic nature and talent combined with his cooking skills made this experience well worth it.
Definitely something to try if you come to Pattaya!

As expected a great meal with some fun from our chef, my companion and I got the ichban set menu and the food was cooked to perfection and tasted excellent.

One failing was that after our meal we were kept waiting for 20 minutes to get our bill as their Point of Sale had died, we were repeatedly told it would be five minutes to get our bill but the time dragged on, eventually we got a hand written bill and paid in a couple of minutes.

Let me start by saying, I would not go again.
Benihana is located on Beach Rd. in Pattaya and is a theme restaurant which offers live cooking and therein lies the problem I think.
It is more focus on the entertainment than on the actual cooking and quality of food.
For instance taking the tomahawk and comparing to the Kitchen which is also located on Beach Rd. The Kitchen stands out a lot more and the steak is much better.
The snow fish was great and of good quality, but also taking the price into consideration, I believe it is not worth it.
If however you are looking for an easy night out with a group and looking to be entertained, then this might be the spot to go to.

Excellent service from the moment you get to the door through to leaving the restaurant. We had a personal chef due to Covid-19. Only two people per table, which made it quick to eat as normally you end up waiting a while as he cooks everyone's food. Ordered steak this time and it was perfectly cooked with garlic butter and no gristle. Just the way I like it. Highly recommend eating at Benihana for the service, food and great training they provide, as well as the fun experience delivered by the talented chefs.

Food here is good but the quality of fish is not up to western standards of a hi-end japanese restaurant. Rolls were tasty though and set very nicely. Probably on the top of pattaya’s levels for sushi restaurant ,service is great and restaurant is nicely decorated . Saw the shows the cooks put on for the teppanyaki, it was very entertaining. But I didn’t eat it so can’t comment on the food

We had always wondered what Benihana was all about, having seen their many branches worldwide and finally decided to give it a try! We were throughly entertained by our chef, Mackie, who displayed some amazing knife skills and was a hoot with his jokes. We had their Waygu special which was cooked to perfection. Put your camera to video mode so you don't miss any surprises!
