A nice, budget-friendly hotel in a quieter area of Bangkok. The location is good - it’s not too far away from most attractions, but you may find yourself spending lots of time in taxis. The staff are friendly. The rooms are basic, but the beds are comfortable (although you may find a stray spring poking out) and the fans are effective, although one of the two didn’t work, but this didn’t make too much difference. They have both private and shared bathrooms. The private bathroom in the room was clean and the shower was good, with hot water. No sink in there - not sure about the shared ones. This was a pleasant stay, and one I’d recommend if you don’t mind being a bit further out of the main areas.

Good:

- Room is OK. A/C is working fine.

- Not very small room as I expected - actually quite good size.

- Staff is friendly. Very friendly and helpful.

- Staff speaks English

- Dedicated smoking area with chairs on a small balcony.

- A good water pressure in the bathroom

- Free coffee at the ground floor

- Clean inside.

- usually you can get a very good deal (money wise)

Bad:

- Check in 11.30 and the room was not ready (OK, this could the guest fault, so not really big problem.

- Not very presentable outside.

- Not able to park a car outside overnight (not enough room)

- Mosquitos in the common areas in the evening. Very hungry small mosquitos.

- Inside, the hotel could be refreshed. It will be nice to paint walls, doors etc. Not a big job to be done.

One of the best budget accommodation in Soi Buakhao.
Very cheap (paid 550 thb per night and refundable deposit 300 thb), close to many cheap massage shops, clean, quiet, good wifi.
No view from some rooms, simple interior, limited amenities.

Good size rooms with ensuiet and tv 50 chanel various languages fridge AC. Just off main Rd so less noise and mopeds clothes washing facilities. And friendly family run

Terrible air conditioner that took forever to cool down the room. Dingy room and bathroom. Ok location, quieter street but close enough to everything.
