The food not bad.

But for the environment. It was very hot inside. Air conditioning was very weak. For entering the restaurant, customer need to take off shoes. If you going to washroom, there are a pair of public flip flop to wear. It is just a bit gross for me. I was wearing flats and didn’t wear socks. The floor outside washroom was wet. Feel so disgusting when the foot touching it. Maybe it’s Thai culture.

I don’t really enjoy the barefoot experience unless the place is 200% clean.

Great declaration and environment make me feel like in Japan. Nice and polite staff. A bit disappointed that the uni is sold out on that day. Haha, but I try the other bowl, still fresh and delicious! Better make an appointment in advance.

Good experience, especially the beef steak with smoked hay, which is the show of the restaurant.
Other foods are standard for its price-quality ratio.
Air conditioning is not strong enough for hot days in BKK.
Seating on the counter is worn and very uncomfortable. It needs replacement urgently.
Kitchen hood is quite loud but after dinner, you will feel like strongly smoked anyway.

Prepare yourself for super loud greetings on the way in and out. Better reserve a table. Food is fresh but quite slow...like 45 minutes for steak. Nice new drink list.

The average star of 4.7 surprises me. How does this place even get this kind of review? Perhaps a lot spent on marketing? The food is so-so for the price (there are many better places around here), and the service is unbelievably slow for a Tuesday night and the place isn't even packed.

The grilled fish was super dry and hard. The recommended rainbow sushi and kanimiso were just so-so, and it took forever to get the grilled vegetables. The best thing here we had was actually the miso soup.

I think this might be the first time giving a Google review this bad. Trust me on this - don't waste your time and money on this place. It is not worth it. There are so many better places around this area.

About my 10th time in Bangkok and I wish it didn’t take me this many trips to have found this lively, warm place. This is where you’d come for great yummy dishes with a relaxed, entertaining atmosphere

5 star for their ambience, but food above average. 4 star to the concept not the taste. Small portions, price on the higher side ($1500-2000baht/person for a decent meal with some drinks)
Don’t recommend the crab sashimi thing (as in the photo) literally supermarket quality crab sticks in a shell, the presentation is very misleading
