Five stars for this Italian cuisine restaurant. Homey vibe, food is tasty, fresh ingredients. Nice service. Only concern is there is no parking lot, not a big deal though. Recommend this place.

Outstanding authentic Tuscan food in a cozy, welcoming atmosphere. Bonamici is a must-visit if you're in the Phrakanong area. I especially enjoyed the gnocchi and steak, and the tiramisu was the perfect way to finish the meal.

Good vibes and Italian food feel like home. Pizza is the best menu, recommended to order for the first.

Home cooking Italian in nice Italian place with Italian chef (I believe) in Soi Meesuwan. Good for dine in or take home. The place is really hidden in residential area of Sukhumvit 71(Pridi Banomyong 14). A trout from France is cooked so well. Most of their packaging is also environmental friendly.

I just passed by this restaurant by chance and got interested in this townhouse-base Italian restaurant on local soi in Phra Khanong.

Dishes are authentic Italian coocked by the cheff who seems to be an Italian.
Pizza is thin crust type and so crispy and whole grilled rainbow trout is also recommended.
What I like is its atmosphere where i felt at home. That's probably because the restaurant is in renovated townhouse.

Staff are attentive. Price is fair.

Although I have tried a lot of Italian restaurants in Bangkok, this restaurant has now joined my favorite ones.

I ordered my favourite dish of Spaghetti alla Puttanesca and was disappointed that it was lacking in flavour. It didn't taste like it was made with a good quality olive oil and adequate European spices. The black olives in it actually tasted off. In Italy, this would be considered a mediocre shadow of a great dish. I was also surprised that the pasta was not al dente. Instead, it was overcooked with no bite. Did the chef forget he was cooking Italian noodles instead of Thai noodles?

And then there was the bread basket. I was shocked when we were passed olive oil and balsamic vinegar to add to it. In Italy, in fact most of Europe, the bread basket is eaten with butter. Only in the US and Asia is the bread eaten with olive oil and balsamic vinegar. If you eat the bread with olive oil and balsamic vinegar in Italy, you will be met with shock if not horror by the restaurant. You might even get laughed at.

Most people have described this place as simple and home like. To me, it is painfully kitsch, with its cringing decor and 1950s - 1970s music. Who is the restaurant trying to target? Retirees and those with bad taste?

Despite its simple decor, this restaurant had pretensions of a fine dining establishment. It had no bottled water from Thailand. It only had bottled water imported from Italy, which they will charge you 90 THB for a small 500 ml bottle. Don't forget, you have to pay for the privilege of a real Italian chef and "authentic Italian food" here.

No wonder the restaurant was empty and we were the only table when we were there.

P.S: I was puzzled why I found this restaurant so lacking when there are so many 5 star reviews. Then I went to look at the reviews and realised that many of the reviewers only had one review. In other words, after their 5 star review of this restaurant, they didn't bother to review any other place. Even months and years after their review. It is as if they set up an account just to give this place a 5 star review and post up lots of photos of the food here. Are these reviews genuine? Your guess is as good as mine.

Spinach Ricotta Dumplings followed by a fresh seafood salad and the famous Gnocchi duck ragu.
Perfect for sharing with friends, make sure to keep some space left for the desert ;)
The inside of the house is an architecture delight, come and check this new place.
